I think it’s because they raised the surrounding pavement. I really hope the pavement refurbishment isn’t why they decided to alter the fountains and planters. The loss far outweighs any gain.looks like they even shortened the fountain for...some reason

If WDW has anyone decent left managing these parks, they will put the walls up in the next few weeks, start repairing things, and have a few seminars led by experienced Imagineers to prevent this from happening again.
