Save Pleasure Island has pictures of a place called Morimoto Street food. Anyone know what this is? It's back behind Morimoto.

I hope this a quick service version. I was surprised that there wasn't more of this announced and wondered if something was coming down the pike. Given their emphasis on "street food" I thought it would be great if Morimoto (and Paradiso with their expansion) offered a more fast casual counter service option, like Wolfgang Puck Express. It seems like most of the food announced for Disney Springs implied table service restaurant or snacks (like cupcakes, gelato, etc.). Aside from Blaze Pizza and the mysterious "Disney Burger", there wasn't a lot of "fast food" in the plans so far.

In this post, it says that there is a seating area back there both inside and outside. It also says that there will be an upstairs opening to the restaurant. I'm guessing it will be similar to what WPC does with it's Express and Upstairs and main restaurant.

Now while eating your fine Asian Cuisine, all you have to do is try not to think about the hundreds upon hundreds of people that have done the nasty in this very building! :p

Does anybody know if you can order from the regular menu when sitting at the liquor bar? Also, I know it just started, but how hard would it be to get a table on a Saturday afternoon? Reservation-required?

Thanks!

You can search for reservations here (http://www.opentable.com/morimoto-asia-reservations-lake-buena-vista) or through the restaurant's website here (https://www.patinagroup.com/restaurant.php?restaurants_id=158). Not sure if the dining menu is available at the bar, typically that's provided for patrons in my experience.

Did anyone else see Michael's segment with Morimoto on The Chew yesterday? He swung by the new restaurant. If you wanted to go before, you will REALLY want to go after watching it. Looks...so....good!
