But how can a tooth infection kill a whale?

The same way it can kill a human. If it gets worse, the infection can actually spread to the rest of your body and cause serious problems. :( Actually, the killer whales' teeth at SeaWorld are cleaned on a very regular basis, and irrigated to prevent any kind of buildups that can cause an infection.

Kirstin, sorry to hear about your whale. :( Our DOS at work had 2 grandfathers die in 3 days, so we've all been a little down lately.

In other news, I have received two e-mails in the last 11 minutes from "Free Condoms" so I'm curious if all Hotmail users are on this list or if I'm the lucky one.

I'm going to assume that you mean the condom thing, and not the grandfather thing, to which I say, WHEW!!! I was concerned that someone had put my name on a bizarre contraception list of sorts. I was going to point a guilty finger at Speck, but now I guess I don't need to. All that nekkid huggling makes me wonder. :lookaroun
