Radical idea here. If WDW is looking to cut costs - Why not run all the nighttime shows on Friday/Saturday nights, and then only Tuesday or Wednesday during the week? Keeps people spread out and doesn't overcrowd one park.
Why is this news for me? I was just making a statement that I think if changes come, the general population will have to adjust their schedules. I don't like the porspect of cuts in shows and hours any more or less than anyone else. I'm just trying to examine the situation diplomatically.

Your idea has merit, but in talking to some of my co-workers (ex-Disney R.O.E. and Fantasmic! show and pyro techs) there might be an issue with that approach. Some of the elements within the various shows might not take to well to only being used a couple of days a week. I'm not sure what elements they are talking about, but considering the complexity of R.O.E. and Fantasmic!, you can definitely see the opportunity for major technical issues.
I imagine we'll see very soon just what will happen with a highly technical show being reduced to 2 shows a week, won't we?
I don't care about Fantasmic. I ain't never seen it.
