Monsters inc ride

...or if a child "misplaces" their ticket???

How about this...a PIXAR land...like JUST MOVIES that deal with PIXAR! (I don't know how Pixar and MGM get along though)
Toy Story, Finding Nemo, Cars, Bugs Life, Monsters Inc...
This would not only be a cool place for the parents, but definitely the kids. Move the Bugs Life playground, add the e-ride for Monsters Inc (with a children's themed attraction like Pooh).Finding Nemo underwater adventure... Pixar could have a pretty decent setup!

Since MGM is divided in "states" why not call it Sillicon Valley and it can use the "stages area" they are already viewing areas so there will be security post (could be animatronic monsters or projections).... why are we doing the imageneers work for them?

Oh just for fun.... :):):):)

and why Sillicon Valley, for a link to Pixar or any other CG company that works with and for Disney like the now defunct "Secret Lab"

Heading for the great escape.
If its in MGM stuff the kids, they shouldnt be such wimps anyway, they could always do a handover point. If its in MK then yes make it a family ride, but then im sure that would leave most dissapointed.
As the old saying gos, "publish and be damned" you cant account for everyones fears and paranoias. Big it big and build it scary:sohappy:

Small note on Herbie

(Oh yeah...and while you're listening...how about a Herbie attraction???) [/B][/QUOTE]

Why is it that Disney doesn't seem very proud of the Herbie movies? When I see the sign at an EMPTY parking space on the Backlot tour it just seems so odd to me... How hard would it be to grab a VW for a couple hundred... paint it white... slap some stickers on it and push it in there? I've been to the Disney Institutes Managerial Seminars and it was a discussion topic where it was considered a "lessons learned" As in overdoing one particular project until the concept is dead... Seems to me a icon like that in the theme park could possibly reintroduce it to a new market and which might increase the sales of the videos and DVD's... Anything but keep it hidden.

I totally agree...and believe it or not...there is a fanbase out there for Herbie. (I think the Imagineers are thinking about it too) Just think about it...if they didn't have Herbie on the brain, then WHY would they dedicate a whole section of the ASMovies to him?

I've heard sometime ago when Planet Hollywood was open (It is still open over Orlando, right?) that a copy of Herbie is in the celling of the main area of the restaurant as it is "Chiti Chiti Bang Bang" and the Absend Minded Profesor car (The Original Flubber movie)

And PLEASE dont kill my if it isnt true

Hey everyone,
I know I've read somewhere (mouseinfo.com or mouseplanet.com) that there is already a rumor of a Monsters, Inc. Dark ride coming to DCA. Most likely will not happen until their version of ToT is built, but sounded like a cool concept...something like a Monsters powerplant onsite that powers the two theme parks and, of course, something goes haywire during your tour of the plant.

I'll see if I can dig it up...
