Hey guys...

Just to let you know... The two of you arguing shouldn't be in the "News and Rumors" board either :)

And inregards to that teenager comment about how they are talked down to. Shut up. I didnt know you were a teen until you said that, and I doubt happy snapper knew either. The reason he said it like that was because he sarcasticly telling you to NOT BE SO !!!!

And dont use that teen crap with me. Im 18 and been through it. You just need to relax and let the moderaters move what needs to be moved.

I belive that this idea would be a great idea . My idea however would be for it to be a spiderman-like simulater but involving newer technolgies . It would be really cool if they could start out like the spiderman ride with all the 4d stuff and then for the chase scene actually combine the 4d effects with an actual roller coaster . But if the want to target this as a non height restricted ride then just the spidey simulater idea would still be awesome. A good space for this would be either The great movie ride or Who wants to be a millionare

sure thing if worse comes to worse and disney would want an eride there they could always come up woth something real cool for kids too in the same area . Giving the kids a chance to see there monster pals and enjoy a ride with mommy while the big kids( like me and my father for example) can enjoy the eride. Hmmm how about a monsters inc kiddie ride just like those ever so popular fantasyland rides in back of the eride . That way they could make the whole area a Monster inc themed area which would be a neat new idea for MGM . and it would draw some of the crowd away from the main Eride area where they stuffed not one not two but three Big attractions in one area , maybe even 4 if u count the ever popular Beauty and the beast stage show

How did yal like my ride layout/design/idea/suggestion thing

i think the kids ride should explore Monsters Inc. While the parents have a thrill ride.

But i wonder how you could make it so that the kids will see their parents on the ride next to them, and how will CM's know that the parents are really picking up their kids and not snatching someone elses?

somethin to think about.

I guess the CM's could distribute cards with numbers on them and if the parents matches the kids then they are together and thats a good way to match up a parent with their kid on the ride

Ex. Child #100 is given a card with the #100 on it
Parent of child #100 gets the same card along with everyone else in their party

then the cast members put the number of people in party #100 into a computer and the computer puts them so that they are on the same run together, and if the ride got really crowded then the computer could distribute fast pass type slips telling party #100 to come back between 12:05 and 12:15 (notice the shorter time distance)

hey it could work

That would be way too much work to do and would be a logistics nightmare. I don't think that anything like this would work.

Monsters Inc Ride - great film, great idea.
Has to be in MGM, BUT get the ide away from TOT and RNR - its getting pretty busy along there

i am admitting it. i am just an energized 11 -year old who loves digging up and snooping around just to find out anything on mission:space. And i want to be a degisner for theme and amusement parks. so if you dont want to belive an 11 year old about my rumor thats ok too.oh and just to add, i am a boy.

sounds to me like a better and more family friendly "shaky chairs in front of a giant screen" type of ride. Like hanna barbera at universal for example.:lookaroun

NO SIMULATORS! Unless it is comparable to Spidey.

Wow now this treat is getting xtremely great... I love the sugestion of using Greta Movie Ride area for this (huge space and GMR already needs a new makeover) Since is a Headquarters of Monters Inc... actually the bulding looks like... As for the split of kids and parents, the use of ID is great (also a tie in of the movie).

The "nightmare" about logistics is not that bad since Universal on the ET ride use a similar technology for ET to great u at the end by name, so matching kids and parents wont be so bad after all. Even include cameras so there will be security just for this.

Another placed that this could be done is near by MuppetVision 3D, StarTours, Idiana Jones Stunt...

the idea of a 4 track would be difficult and DANGEROUS so lets keep ot simple Big and Small ride...

The dark ride for kids could be nice but it may scare the kids, unless u find a way to hide the parents and make them ride together some sorta doomboggies with the parents on the back along with their kids on front without knowing that their are there.

So there u go, more ideas...

sounds good, i just thought the kids getting out and being able to go into the the other kids bedrooms would make the ride even more magical, it would be kinda dangerous though. And i think all kids are different, so some of them might want to go alone, and others might want theirparents to come along.

There could be a rule that if your 13 or older, you have to have a kid with you to ride the kiddy ride.

maybe not... just another idea

UH...Yeah..The Card thing MIGHT work on ET, but there, you are dealing with your name, no big deal if it gets screwed up..Here, you are dealing with a HUMAN CHILD, Just a LITTLE bit different..Kidnappers, Inc Might become a better name for it. If you Wanted it to work better, Have the parents and kids stay in the SAME line all the the way till they get to the loading area, Then, kids and parents will be on seperate rides, that run at paralell time intervals, and that unload at the same time. However, even this isa bad idea..What parent wants to send their kid on a ride by themselves? Most parents want to experience the ride WITH their kids...It's sorta the whole point of Disney World...I don't remember EVER seeing parents drop off their Kids at It's a Small world, You ride it TOGETHER..It's part of the magic.

I think the Spiderman Ride solves all the Problems, use a system like that, Make the car a 'Tour Vehicle' That is taking you on a tour of the Corporation, but you end up having to chase Randall, and Your vehicle gets 'picked up' by the crane and pulled through the warehouse, and then intothe kids rooms, etc. Woah, the Big Imax Screens that would be used for the Warehouse screens...FUN! :)

BUT It would NOT go into the Great Movie RIDE!!!!!!!!!!!!! I can't believe someone suggested this. I threw up. Seriously, I did.
That is the CENTERPIECE of MGM, Monsters inc Does not belong there.

It Belongs in the Animation Courtyard. And, all though Who Wants to Be a Millionare is fun, I believe it's days are numbered, since it's been removed from the ABC lineup and all...It would make the perfect space for this.>Remove all those unused Sound Studious (Disney has to Face it, The idea of MGM being a REAL working studio is pretty much dead in the water, except for the animation department) Or Just Move the Soundstages to the end of the property, and reroute the Backstage tour, maybe they could even do SOMETHIGN smart, and start making a Disney Channel Show there, or hey,. maybe even an ABC show there (like that new 'rules for dating my teenaged daughter' sitcom)

That would clear away a perfect, easily themed area for Monsters Inc...

I have about a million sigestions for MGM...God If I was in charge, I would make that place so wonderful..and so much more....FUNCTIONAL!!!!!!! Oi, ohwell, enough ranting.

good call chad, i guess WDW is about seeing the magic through the eyes of your child.

a good idea to solve the problem.

what about a new rollercoaster design that has two tracks right next to each other and the cars ride right next to each other until the Randall car (the parents) goes anotherway and the kids car goes the other way and the kids catch their parents with the door or Boo or sumthin.

wow thats hard to explain
