Guardians has 20 people per train, and with launch averaging every 30 seconds, that's 2,400 PPH.

If Moansters also launches every 30 seconds, that's only 1,400 PPH.

Maybe... with the quad loading, they can dispatch at a faster rate. At this point, it'll be up to the length of the coaster's blocks and train velocity as to if they can have more frequent launches.

How would that be a good fit for Guardians?

As a coaster enthusiast it might be what you prefer, but it’s not the best fit for the ride they wanted to create.

Yeah, the whole point of the pivoting of the Guardians coaster is to face show scenes.
Not to spin for the sake of spinning.

Excited for this coaster, do we think the rotating capability of the seat will be used during the ride like Guardians or just for the effect of the vertical lift?

I have a suspicion that the rotating aspect will only be used for load/unload (like F.L.Y. at Phantasialand... only inverted instead of flying). I do wonder how exit will work... I'd kinda like to see a continuously moving unload platform with a conveyor belt and all the seats facing outward.

I would be all for that if they could go back to the level of storytelling and immersiveness they once did. I'm talking about going back to 15 minute dark ride length, full of AAs.

15 minute dark rides were never the standard, they are the exception. Haunted Mansion is half that and nobody complains it’s too short.

There’s only a couple of dark rides I can think of that may be 15 minutes. Pirates in Disneyland and spaceship earth come to mind.

I think Small World in Disneyland and Great Movie ride qualify. But too many people have this notion in their head that all the great dark rides were 15 minute epics. It’s just not true.

I didn't literally mean 15 minutes but majority of dark rides and attractions in general were much longer than they are now. Majority are 5 minutes or less and lack the AAs. Attractions used to be full of AAs.

yeah, original EPCOT definitely had some long rides - obviously not as many when it first opened but you had those two (15 mins each), SSE (also 15 mins), Universe of Energy (was 45 minutes in total), Journey into Imagination was 11 mins

Obviously initial Disneyland has the fantasy land rides that were a lot shorter but then they hit a stride of wanting (it seems) some longer experiences.

Society and attention spans have definitely changed since then though - I am sure part of the reason Universe of Energy was never crowded was due to how long it was

Including preshows Rise of the Resistance is about 15 minutes, so I am sure there will always be exceptions, but yeah, 7 minutes is probably more the norm - MMRR including preshow is 7 mins as well

Which is really unfortunate -- the length is one of the reasons EPCOT had by far the best attraction lineup of any theme park ever built for me.

In general? Maybe. When I attended seaworld camp I didn’t get the feeling that the smaller animals were being mistreated. Now the orcas? Sadly I’m inclined to believe that they are being mistreated. We weren’t shown back there. probably to avoid people seeing something seaworld doesn’t want people to see.

Most coasters are ~1-2 mins from the launch/top of the lift to the final brake run... I'd assume this won't be significantly different...
