I love the muppets but if they theme rocknroller coaster to muppets then I’m sorry but that is a ridiculous idea with so many other opportunities to could use the muppets characters for.

Keep the rock band theme. Play random rock music on the ride (like Guardians). Done.

It would be a forced thing to try and keep muppets somewhere while closing muppets 3d because of the backlash but doing it in the quickest cheapest dumbest way possible
Heck even modern pop rock music would work well like Olivia Rodrigo, Taylor Swift, etc. There are so many huge popstars to choose from.

Hollywood already suffers from a lack of low wait, accessible attractions since most require LL or have ridiculous waits or are just too intense. Now it will be even worse. I know they’re a business, but why kill every low wait attraction? The parks aren’t fun when you have to either stand in line for hours or cough up more and more money for LL. I’m really pretty disgusted with the current direction of the parks, and every announcement just makes it worse unfortunately

This is really disappointing. It feels like they really are killing off nostalgia for no reason. I get the need to update, but this isn't the way in a park that desperately needs capacity. I was legitimately planning on renewing my pass today. Paying $450 to basically just go to Epcot on weeknights to spend even more money is getting really, really hard to justify. I'm sure there is an audience for this - but I'm not sure who it is. This feels like "committee think" again. "They like Muppets. Kill two birds with one stone. They'll love it, right??"

And to @lentesta 's point - I don't hate the Muppets redo of RnRC. That could be really fun. I just don't like having to trade one for the other. We have Star Tours, Galaxy's Edge and Launch Bay all in one park. So, any argument that you can't have Muppets in two spots fall flat for me.

Launch Bay is going to eventually be gone in the next 10 years. And I wouldn't be surprised to see Star Tours be rethemed at some point.

It's great to finally be able to talk about this.

I love the overlay idea. I ended up talking to some entertainment lawyers last month about how it might all work. Like, who actually owns the songs performed on The Muppet Show 40 years ago? Does anyone really know? Will Disney just re-record stuff with The Muppets?

I mean, "Movin' Right Along" was created 100% in house and I would assume Disney has the full rights to... right? Would seem odd to not have SOME version of that song used... right?

The thing about that constricted street walkway to the Monsters Inc. building, now WITHOUT a huge plaza in front of it, is that this way they can better hide a bigger gravity room behind it with painted blue sky on it, just like we were afraid they were going to do based on that D23 model.

If they want to remove Aerosmith, simple, keep the rock band theme. Play random rock music on the ride (like Guardians). Done and money saved.

It looks like its going to be based around Dr. Teeth and the Electric Mayhem which includes Animal and the others Muppets make an appearance.
