It looks like it’s going to be based around Dr. Teeth and the Electric Mayhem which includes Animal and the others Muppets make an appearance.
I bet that Electric Mayhem will take the place of Aerosmith and the preshow will have Kermit getting them ready for the show. I think Kermit was the only other Muppet made prominent in the concept art but I find it hard to believe that the Muppets will have a thrill coaster without Gonzo making an appearance. Maybe they use his cannon for the launch or something

Yup. Muppets is a bad fit for a coaster. It’s a property that relies on dialogue, characterization, and wit - all things, of course, modern Disney parks don’t do well.

I’ve grumbled about the loss of humor in the parks, but even more egregious and complete is the near complete removal of any kind of self-deprecating satire at the expense of the parks themselves. Muppets, Dinoland - there was a period when Disney was very good at making fun of itself. That’s a distant memory.

I think it's an awesome fit.

Disney can fix DHS by adding the OG Star Wars characters people actually care about to Galaxy Edge. Maybe when Igor and his ego leaves they will. No reason to slap the Muppets on Rock n Rollercoaster when Launch Bay is available. It is really ridiculous what they’ve done to a park that’s such limited in space. I hope the door coaster is epic in 2045 when it opens.

I don't even know how to put into words how much my heart hurts hearing this announcement. I almost refuse to believe it. Getting rid of Muppet*Vision 3D is one of the most bone-headed decisions I could possibly ever imagine. I will be making a day trip to Hollywood Studios from California just to experience this incredible piece of art multiple times, one last time, before the final closure. It's that important of an attraction to me.

I am actually happy to hear the Muppets are taking over Rock n' Roller Coaster. But the sting of the other announcement is just too much of a dark cloud looming over that otherwise positive announcement.

This is going to be a rough one for me. Holy moly.

you could in theory write up a great pre-show but that’s just it, a pre show.

Man, what are they doing with the stupid, empty Animation Courtyard then!? The only reasonable answer is have they have it saved for when they get the Marvel rights or something.

I’m glad the Muppets aren’t completely leaving. But this is still a decision that gives me super mixed feelings.
Same, MuppetVision was one of the few reminders that the park is still the MGM studios we all came to know and love. Animation Courtyard better be getting something HUGE (and preferably movie related too)
