Hang on, so Monsters is taking over Muppets and Muppets are taking over RnR?
To the best of my knowledge, Muppets courtyard will be rethemed/expanded into Monstropolis, MuppetVision itself will become a new Monsters show, the door coaster will be a net addition, and MILF will find a new home in one of the smaller buildings.

Muppets will retheme RnRc. Thankfully by investing in a new muppet attraction it proves that this was purely a business decision and less of a ‘remove old IP’ decision.

As others have said best case-scenario would see MuppetVision moved into the Sunset Showcase theater after the Villains have wrapped up. Some seem to think that the Villains show may be temporary anyways as it could just be a test to see how audiences react to different scare levels before they finalize the plans for Villains land. The whole RnRc area would translate to an excellent Muppets land. The RnRc archway could easily be made to look like the Henson archway that was in LA, Kermit statue included

I’m just excited to hear Movin Right Along on a coaster!

I love the muppets but if they theme rocknroller coaster to muppets then I’m sorry but that is a ridiculous idea with so many other opportunities they could use the muppets characters for. Just further proves Disney can’t figure out how to use them.

If they want to remove Aerosmith, simple, keep the rock band theme. Play random rock music on the ride (like Guardians). Done and money saved.

It feels like a forced thing to try and keep muppets somewhere while closing muppets 3d because of the backlash but doing it in the quickest cheapest dumbest way possible
Yup. Muppets is a bad fit for a coaster. It’s a property that relies on dialogue, characterization, and wit - all things, of course, modern Disney parks don’t do well.

I’ve grumbled about the loss of humor in the parks, but even more egregious and complete is the near complete removal of any kind of self-deprecating satire at the expense of the parks themselves. Muppets, Dinoland - there was a period when Disney was very good at making fun of itself. That’s a distant memory.

It's great to finally be able to talk about this.

I love the overlay idea. I ended up talking to some entertainment lawyers last month about how it might all work. Like, who actually owns the songs performed on The Muppet Show 40 years ago? Does anyone really know? Will Disney just re-record stuff with The Muppets?
It should just be Alkaline Trio’s cover of Movin’ Right Along.
