Disney is obsessed with making everything a land because they're still trying to replicate the success of Wizarding World with every IP they can think of.
Umm... there are counter-examples.

The Cars ride looks like an IP land, but, it's just the outdoor track of a single ride (and it's junior flat ride sitting in the middle of it). It's not like BTMRR is being converted into a Cars-franchise ride in order to create a mini-land.

In DAK, "Tropical America" isn't a single-IP land. Indy and Encanto are not in the same universe.

TRON didn't get a 'TRON Land' surrounded by TRON-themed attractions (tho, it would have been cool if Speedway was rethemed to TRON Racers).

There is no Guardians-land surrounding Cosmic Rewind.

And this Monsters Coaster is only getting a show and a few shops. It's not like there are the usual two or three rides. Is a courtyard a 'land'?

This will have the same number of attractions as the World of Pandora and I'm pretty sure they count that as a land in AK. 🤷‍♂️

If they end up expanding behind animation courtyard, would they demolish the racing springs academy/future villains theater to make a walkway from sunset blvd to it? I’m just thinking of why they wouldn’t move muppet vision 3d there

A new CEO takes control in 2026. Economic policy changes beginning in 2025 are going to cause the cost of construction to skyrocket and may crater the economy as a whole. Nothing that is slated to begin construction after 2025 should be considered close to certain - no Villains Land, no phase 2s, no Muppets Coaster, nothing.

Remember what the pandemic did to the Epcot redo in particular and the last wave of significant investments into the parks in general? The current situation is even worse, because the disruption is forseeable.
With this sort of take - why are you speculating at all?

This is such a bizarre take.

To me, Muppets ToT is seamless. The characters can fit right in. Just redo the film to have muppets instead of people. It would also be less scary (not that it is), and more family friendly. Gonzo and Rizzo do the pre-show, Miss Piggy and others are the guests who are zapped.
No, no, no, no. ToT as it stands today is a near perfect ride. While it may not be “scary” to most adults there is a spooky vibe that builds from the queue, through the pre-show into the wait to load and throughout the ride. The Muppets wouldn’t enhance any of that. The story, the pace, the thrill factor….it all works really well together as is. RNRC is thought of as a good coaster but the Aerosmith story has little to do with the success of the ride experience. The rock aspect can easily still work with the Muppets included.
