One could also argue that the Muppets area is also dead and underutilized. Which was probably the driving force for proposing to put it there.

It also appears that the main obstacle for AC is not the underutilized guest area (Launch Bay) but the apparently important and difficult to relocate office building and surrounding area.
Yeah. I wonder how they’ll figure that out. I do support something going in that spot that you outlined though. It should connect to the RNRC plaza. While it’s probably not possible to create a full loop connecting to Toy Story land and SWGE, RNRC shouldn’t be a dead end.

Would Disney Junior live on somewhere else. Again stating that this is a very fun thing for the littles and is in air conditioning. Remember it's always good to have experiences for the littles and that they feel that it's something for made just for them!

This area is actively used. In addition to DJ, (which is also a people eater), it includes the Brown Derby, Club 33, Brown Derby Kitchen, CM dining, and Starring Rolls.

I still think that the AC presents a much larger challenge for them to develop than Muppets or another area. Doesn't mean I agree with it.

The only dead part of Muppets is the gift shops. Pizzerizzo is a fine restaurant, Mama Melrose is popular, and MuppetVision itself is peak.

Star Wars Launch Bay Area has none of that.

Respectfully, Pizzarizzo is so under used that it isn't even open for dinner (And that's probably for the better, considering the general health and safety of guests). There are two gift shops in the area, but they can't even keep one open. Mama Melrose is consistently empty and underperforms.

I love MV3D, but in reality it is certainly not peak and it hasn't been for decades. A muppets D/E-Ticket would go a long way to revitalize the area in addition to MV3D, but clearly the braintrust felt a different IP would work better.

If both Muppets area and AC and "underused" but Monsters ends up going in AC, then what happens to uppets area? If they really were considering retheming Muppets area then it's days must still be numbered, no?

Maybe, but at least the park is better in the interim. Launch Bay is very underutilized and a huge footprint and its removal is key to using the large backspace space that if needed to really improve the park. MV is a valuable show that still has decent utilization and is all ages in a park too skewed towards thrills.

Nothing. It sits there status quo.

The IP mandate from up high only focuses on relevant IP. While Muppets is a much more recognizable IP than Monsters, it seems like it does not have the desirable demographic appeal that Disney wants.

A Muppets E-Ticket to supplement the area would be immensely popular, not because of the inherent brand popularity, but because it would be something new that presumably would be done well. Monster Inc hasn't been relevant for more than a decade, but some executive who's never set foot in a theme park probably thought it was a better idea because more 10 year olds identify with Mike (with an I) than Fozzie Bear.
