We are getting close to our 180 day ADR date and have started planning!

We want to have a table service lunch at a Monorail hotel but there aren't many options. We're thinking Kona at the moment. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Contemporary - The Wave

Grand Florididan - Grand Floridian Cafe

Polynesian - Kona Cafe

Assumig you will be at the MK you could also take the boat over to Wilderness Lodge and try The Wispering Canon

Or boat over to Fort Wilderness and try Tails End!!

Agree with the three here (although the wave appeals more to me for dinner). I tried the GF Cafe for the first time on a recent visit and was pleasantly surprised.

Ohana at the Poly
Whispering Canyon at the WL (not a monorail resort, but close to the MK & can get there by bus or boat)
1900 Park Fare at the GF
Chef Mickey's at the Contemporary

Don't limit yourself to only the monorail resorts. A short boat ride to the Wilderness Lodge, go to the Whispering Canyon Cafe and have the best BBQ skillet and unlimited chocolate shakes!

i like kona at poly and the wave at the contemporary the best. i like whispering canyon but it does take longer to get there. i've had 2 ok lunches at the gf cafe. i'd eat at any of them again.

Count me in on Kona or GF Cafe. I always enjoy the former but the GF Cafe is my choice for a quiet getaway lunch hands down.

We decided on Kona...then my DW noted we didn't have any character meals and one might be nice....so now instead of lunch we are going to do a late breakfast at Chef Mickey's. (I think we'd like 'Ohana's food better but if it's for the characters...the fab five win over Stitch)

Chef Mickeys is very fun and can get very loud!!! But am sure you will enjoy it. Yes Ohana has very good food and its nice not to have to get up to get your food and worry about missing someone. Enjoy Chef Mickey and make sure to play and sing along!!!
