I didn't see this posted, but again, I've been gone so long I didn't have time to search all the posts I missed, but monorail pink was up and running for our trip this past week.

Love did that a week ago. He said, "Oh! Look! Monorail pink!" And I was like, Nope. That's coral. And he was all, "There's a coral? Sure looks pink."

So it happens.

Good. I know it is somewhat illogical - but I would rather they not reuse the colors.

I just hope they use something "normal"

I never liked the choice of Coral. Just sort of a strange color choice to me. Sort of like Monorail Puce, Monorail Teal, or Monorail Arsenic. Or they could use classic colors. There goes Monorail Alizarin Crimson or Monorail Thalo Blue.

Monorail Cyan and Monorail Magenta... team them up with Monorail Yellow and Monorail black, and I'll be happy :D

Both trains will be rebuilt, but we have been asked for input "on the two new train colors."

Changing the colors is a really stupid idea, and I think ultimately they will keep them both the same. Most people don't even know about the accident and only very few of the ones that do know the colors involved. If they do decide to change them they certainly won't be looking for advice from the monorail pilots. I know that they were looking for input from castmembers but I think this was just to give people something to do.

Constantly, all day, we are asked about the accident. And the "sympathy factor" seems to have worn off of the guests. "Were you the one that rammed the trains together?" "Were you friends with the guy that killed himself?" are examples of two questions I've heard in the last 3 days alone, not to mention the countless "is it because of the accident" when we turn down front cab riders. So yes, many people know and bring up the accident.

Are you in Monorails? You seem to know more about the inner workings than I do...apparantely. or maybe I just imagined the two very emotional meetings on the new train colors.

More people know about the accident than know the colors of the monorails.
