Does anyone know where I can find the classic "D" globe logo that lives on the side of the monorail? I would love to have a t-shirt with this logo on it. Since the don't sell one, I'd like to make one myself. But I can't find the logo anywhere. Any thoughts?

You can find a few t-shirts at the magic kingdom and at epcot that sell retro themed shirts with the D logo.

Long live the D logo :sohappy: Branding at its best, but too bulky for today...needs to go on a diet to get a thinned out font. :D

I got a few new retro t shirts from MouseGear and Emporium in July, both having this logo (the black MK one from Emporium has this original WDW logo in huge red letters on the back)

Failing that, get the Florida Project font from mickeyavenue.com - its dingbats include the oversized D logo, as it is called. Dingbat code around 180-190 if I recall.

Mouse Gears located in Innoventions East in Future World at Epcot and The Emporium on Main Street in the Magic Kingdom sell a small but cool collection of retro themed t-shirts.

It should be noted that the Monorails are being re-painted and the D is being lost in the process.:fork:

While I am very glad the Year of Millions Dream Grafitti has been removed, I am not gung-ho about loosing the old logo.

People I talk to who aren't big Disney fans all agree that the old logo looks cooler than the current one.

Will the day ever come when we get it back!?

When I was in Epcot this past May I not only found the "vintage" t-shirts in Mouse Gears at Innoventions East but I happened to find some in Imaginations (JII) gift store. Hope that helps!
