Sept 23rd I'm going as the caretaker from the Haunted Mansion and on Sept 30th, I'm going to be on of 15 Ghostbusters hitting the park for our annual Proton Packs in the Park event....can't wait to see people's faces when that many of us head to the Mansion :)

I'm sure my DD will be a princess, my wife is undecided, but I'm going as a Egyptian Pharoah. I'll say I'm the king from Spaceship Earth.

My wife and I went to the Magic Kingdom on Oct. 31st 1999 and we both wore Halloween t-shirts, with pumpkins, witches, etc. on them. And I swear we were the only people we saw that day who were dressed up for the holiday. Pleasure Island had a big Halloween party that night, but at the Magic Kingdom.....nothing. Boy, how things have changed in 12 years!

My family and I will be there September 20th. We are going to be dressed as various characters from The Pirates of the Caribbean movies. I found a website that hand makes the beautiful yellow dress that Elizabeth Swann wore in the First Pirate's movie. DH will be Captain Barbosa, oldest son is Davy Jones, Middle son is Black beard youngest son will be Jack Sparrow because he is doing the pirates adventure that moring and oldest sons girlfriend is Angelica. Can't wait for this party. Going to be so much fun!!!

Well, I think I have decided to purchase tix for Sept 20th. I figure if I am going, mid-week will be better than a Friday.

DD will dress up as a princess. We happened to see a nice Ariel costume at a store this weekend for $20. When she saw a Belle outfit, she asked if I remembered being at the party last year. That was the tipping point in the decision process.

We will goes as Beauty and the Geek
DD5: Will dress up as some princess
Dad: I will get out my brightest, most obnoxious Hawaiian shirt, a bright pink tie, a plaid fedora, and black knee high socks .

WOW:eek: It sure has changed!!! It has its own party now!!! I haven't been yet so Im really looking forward to it!! Have you been yet to MNSSHP?

What is the website you found? Do they make all different Pirates costumes or just Elizabeth Swann's? My youngest son wants to dress up as either Jack Sparrow or Barbosa and I would love to find him a good costume. Thanks. :)

We will be going to the October 2nd MNSSHP this year. Last year we went as a Star Wars Family. This year my almost 3 year old son is really into Mickey Mouse Club house, so we will be going as characters from MMCH. My son Ian will be Mickey, other son Aaron will be Donald, my wife will be Minnie and I will be Goofy. Here is a picture from last year:

Cheshire Cat!

I will be the Cheshire Cat on Oct 7th!

Just got all the parts to my Cheshire Cat costume! Did a makeup test this afternoon! Yes...that is a tutu...lol
