MNSSHP: How do they manage making the non-tickets leave?

Just a question of curiosity as to how they do it.

It says people without a MNSSHP ticket cannot attend....but if someone without a ticket simply never leaves the park, how on earth do any cast members know?

Haha just wondering. I'm new :)

"Checkpoints" are manned at various places around the park. A chain of cast members across pathways. These are at places such as entry into lands off the hub, further entry from one land to another etc.

Plus the aforementioned sweep. Seeing a line of CMs come up Main Street was a revelation. As it was to an adjacent family trying to ignore them.

And the also already mentioned check of bands at attractions.

Last year when I attended I was in the area just behind the castle. A CM spotted a woman who did not have a wristband for the event. She asked her if she had a ticket, the woman said no. Then the CM told her she could not remain in the park and said she was going to walk her back to the exit. So the CM's are on the lookout for guests trying to cut in on the fun without paying.

About ten years ago I stuck around during the "Night of Joy" once I realized I couldn't do anything I headed out of the park. When I got towards the entrance as I came under the train tracks they had CMs putting wristbands on people. This was closer to the tunnel, with a huge open area before the turnstiles, so basically you scanned your ticket at the turnstile then moved forward thru the open area to where the wristbands were. I decided to get almost all the way to the turnstiles, then kinda hung out by the gift shop off to the side for a few minutes, then cut straight across to the other tunnel side, and then just walk up to one of the people putting on wrist bands who weren't rechecking tickets or anything. They put a wristband on me and I walked back in. Hung out for a while but the place was so packed and since only so much was open, lines were very long, so I did a ride or two and ended up leaving anyway.

Also, beginning about 5:30 if I remember correctly, the park PA system reminds everyone at what seems like approximately 15 minute intervals the wonderful party begins tonight at 7 p.m. (even the party guests who entered at 4 p.m. in conflict with the announcement that it begins at 7, and who are also enjoying their 3 fastpasses they got which you the day guest now do not have a shot at during the time you actually paid to be there, can hear it). They will even invite you to extend your day past 7 pm ( you know, to a time the park normally closes for the same price as you paid to be ushered out at the early close) by simply purchasing a ticket if they aren't sold out.

There are also cast members on Main Street about this time wearing magical white Mickey hands and holding signs "helping you" find your way to the exit side they have setup to help you leave faster.

They've improved thier segregation between exit areas and banding lines.

Oh I'm sure they have, like I said it was probably around 10 years ago. (9 years actually, just went back and checked my pictures, September 8, 2007) I didn't think I was gonna get away with it then, I figured they would have people looking for that sort of thing, or cameras.

Band distribution in the parks is beside Tortuga Tavern and Buzz very straight linear lines check at step one, next step is literally a few feet ahead with close monitoring by supervisors not involved checking in or banding. At the main turnstiles party entrance is only on the left hand side and will only admit people with party media. Exit is only on the left.

Our family did this quite innocently for the Christmas party. Being totally new to the process, we had tickets but weren't sure where to get the wristbands. We made our way to the front of the park and saw the CMs putting them on. I assumed that they would have scanned our bands before, but no. Just walked up and got our bands with no check. Now we had tickets, but it seemed way too easy.
