We have done MVMCP the week after Thanksgiving and it wasn't terribly crowded in the parks or at the party. I'm going to try and surprise the family with a MNSSHP trip this year. We've never been, but I've heard great things about the parade.

That's the week we always do it too- the crowds haven't been bad for us.

I love MNSSHP too! We tend to alternate years between the two parties. Although this will be two MVMCP years in a row for us- I'm kind of sad that we're missing out on Halloween this year!

Just bought tickets for the 21st and 23rd of September for the MNSSHP! This is our first MNSSHP party so the first party will be for fun, and the second for taking pictures. Friday of that week is a party night too, and from what I've read that Friday night parties are crazy crowded! Sad to not end our trip at MK, so looks like we will head to EPCOT do drown our sorrows! Why do Disney trips always have to end?

Question - both of my friends are AP holders (I am not) - can I get a discount too or no? I always forget how that works.

An AP holder can buy 3 additional tickets at the AP price, so your friend may also purchase your ticket.

Anyone know what the AP/discount days are?

$64 on the day you want to go. (Has to be 10/19). I'm trying to decide on 10/19 or 10/21 for me. Need to think through that week some more. Maybe split it up with a trip to Uni or Sea World. Or a WDW tour (Keys, etc.)

Contemplating MNSSHP for our September trip. I have to get it past the front office though.
My wife enjoyed going, but after our first year she seemed done with it and I had to fight her to go last year. Let's see if I still have my powers of persuasion working for me.

I've been to both parties and while I really enjoy both of them, I like MNSSHP more. The parade at MNSSHP is outstanding and it's fun to see so many Disney fans in costume. I highly recommend getting into the spirit and dressing up!

If my kids would ever move out I could go that time of year, who needs a High School diploma anyways!!!
