MNSSHP - Adult Costumes

After Cmdr_Crimson's post, I just had to contribute to this thread as well once my mother pointed it out to me, haha. Awesome Sora cosplay, btw. The keyblade looks GREAT.

My mother and I have intentions on attending the Halloween party NEXT fall, and I most certainly will be happily dressing up at age 21 - totally going Kingdom Hearts-style.

The problem is going to be choosing which cosplay to take! Ach!

...its a hard decision. Obviously, Seifer would be easier, considering Roxas' hair is HARD TO DO (like in that picture, its epic fail, and I apologize for that - the con before that one, my hair was amazing, but took two hours).

...yah! for adults wearing costumes in Disney World! I'm so psyched about cosplaying in the Magic Kingdom, and its over a year away for me, hehe.

My favorite from our trip last September was a couple of guys who dressed up like Mario and Luigi. There were plenty of people dressed up and when we go back to the MNSSHP next year we will be dressing up.

As Roxas said, we're planning on going for the party in the fall of 2010. I will have just celebrated my 53rd B-day, and you better believe I'm dressing! I'm leaning towards Cruella DeVil - I already have a black & white cigarette holder, and with my almost totally white hair, I'll only have to color half my head!!

We do a theme every year, I have some pics in my album if you wanna check em out :)
This year we're doing Episode II, Anakin, Jengo, Padme, and Yoda... I'm a little worried they may give hubby a hard time with the Jengo mask, but hopefully not. He's been working like gangbusters on his light up working jetpack, can't wait to post pics :)
I'd put one in this thread, but I don't know how...

The wife and I went 2 years ago in Sept. to our first halloween party. Unfortunately that was the night where it poured most of the night and we did not fully take in the experience. We are both in our late 20's and went as Pan and Tink that year. We are going to the Sept 11th party this year with my sister and husband, along with my mom and dad. we are all dressing up and keeping it a surprise from each other until we walk out of our hotel rooms. My wife and I wanted to go as Sully and Boo, but we can't find an adult Sully costume. I think we are leaning towards Woody and Jessie now. Anyone else have any funny Disney couple ideas?

Having worn wings to MNSSHP, I can tell you it's really a pain in the butt. You have to keep taking them on and off to get into and out of attractions and rides and you tend to smack people with them or people smack into them for you. That would be my only hesitancy against a Tink costume.

Did Disney hassle you about the costume's possibility of striking other people? Although I've scratched the idea for this year, next year I'm going as the Scarecrow of Romney Marsh. The costume actually has 2 "prohibited" features: pointy and may strike others. I think I can alter the crossbar to be blunted, but don't know how wide the crossbeam can be before Disney starts looking cross-eyed at me. I think I can bring the crossbeam in just wide enough to get the hanging coat effect, but that might still be too wide.

My plan is to be there 10/2 this year, and my 46-year old self will be in costume. Probably basically the same as last year (gold colonial-type outfit, with or without the Venetian carnival mask from last year).
