MNSHP - Why no Hershey candy?

I’m going to try for the 3rd time, it may be the charm... ;)

Hershey is a sponsor for another major amusement park’s Halloween children/family event.

I don’t think the competition of Magic Kingdom vs Hersheypark has anything to do with MNSSHP.
Disney doesn’t care if third parties are involved with other parks. The far more likely reason is Mars.

I’m saying that Disney probably doesn’t care about Hersheypark. The same way that Cedar Fair doesn’t care about people associating Hershey candy with Hersheypark.

I suspect it probably came down to which candy company was willing to pay Disney the most or offer the biggest discount on candy for the privilege of being the official sponsor of the events.

Could be. Whatever it is, I don’t think that it was competing park related. Who knows though... I sure don’t.

I just want to say that Hershey is by no means just some standard amusement park, as some on here have claimed. Not only is there a premium park as well as a chocolate world experience, there is a zoo, a water park, an on site resort, and to top it off, it is right on the edge of Pennsylvania wine country, with several wineries less than a couple of miles from the park.......for those of us into that kind of thing. While you might not want to spend two weeks there, it's a very fun weekend trip. There is no need to disparage Hershey just because you love Disney. Both things are allowed to be great.

Amen to that.
I'm guessing WDW wouldn't distribute "Universal" candy either.
