MLS coming to WDW

Wonder how tight security will be around the Swolphin. You can walk there from Epcot, several ways (front and back entrances) from B&Y, from DHS, and from the minigolf. If they don't block all the paths and just the doors, there's always lying in wait at the bus stop for their transport to WWoS.
Oh, I'm sure the players will be able to walk around the Boardwalk during their downtime too.
Atlanta United for the Win! Unite and Conquer, baby!

If anyone’s following along, the groups have been picked for the tourney!

My two favorite teams are in the same group, Philadelphia (my local team) and Nashville!

We were in Nashville last summer for vacation, and apart from it being somewhere I'd want to move (all kinds of music everywhere, guitars and vintage records all over the place!) they were really ramping up for the club to start this season. I felt bad that they really hadn't had a chance to get matches in this season.

Nashville was really looking good, despite losing, for the couple games they played pre-pandemic!

And let’s go!! #DOOOOP all the way!!! I can’t wait for the day Philly celebrates and goes crazy over winning a soccer championship, lol!

I’m hoping that Miami will come out swinging. I’m excited for the team, would love to see them advance from the group stage.
Of course I want FCC to come out and show us fans that they really can win again. ;)

I agree. For a brand new team, Nashville has a pretty good-looking club. I was able to watch a couple of their matches on TV, and liked what I saw.

And I would love to see a championship come here for the MLS! I've been a soccer fan for a long time (used to go to Philadelphia Fever, then years later, Philadelphia Kixx and lettered in soccer in High School) so it would be great to see the Union take it. The stadium is really nice as well, and a great atmosphere!

Only became a Philly fan a couple years ago when I got into watching soccer (after I retired from actually playing it post-high school lol).
And wish I get to watch a game there soon!, although I hear they're planning on relocating to central-Philly or at least building a new stadium that's not in Chester haha

So glad you enjoyed our fabulous city! Some of us are super stoked for the club to really get started, while others just want to fight it... Alas it's a great place to live!

Oh, I fell in love with it the day we got there and went to get dinner on Broadway! We have to go back to check out The Gulch and some other areas, as well as catch a show at The Opry!

Ive lived here 6 years now and still haven't caught a live Opry LOL. Ill get there eventually. we live 45 mins south of the city proper, as its quiet, but we love our adoptive city, and our Hockey team :)

We are staying at SSR and OKW July 12-28. I'm not a huge MLS fan, but I do like DC United (met the coach years back) and am a huge fan of just about any live soccer - lived in Scotland in my youth and got pretty addicted. I do wish that they were allowing some type of limited crowd - I know my daughter and I would love going to a game.

Had things not shut down, I was due to see the Predators play the Flyers here in Philly.

And it looks like we'll be in WDW when the final game is played on August 11! That's pretty exciting!

I wish they'd list our rivalry game by what it's actually called: "HELL IS REAL."

For Columbus. Go Crew.

FWIW, the rivalry is named for these signs that have forever dotted the stretch of I-71 between Columbus and Cincy:
