I was not on board with the large A-Rod contract to begin with. All the Yanks got out of it was one miraculous year in the postseason in '09 and disappointment after disappointment the rest of the way. I seriously wish A-Rod would just pull a Kovalchuk and retire already. He's been injury prone in recent years and he'll get something more severe or at least, equivalent of what Braun got. I see no point in playing on with a possible long-term or lifetime suspension. It's mistakes like that I wish Cashman would get the pink slip sooner!

I'm a Cubs fan. I bleed Cubbie Blue, but this home stretch has been painful. Today was the worst when Tommy Lasorda slept through the game against the Dodgers.

My Dodgers just swept the Chicago Cubs and just matched their own record, with 14 straight away games... Keep it up, boys! Now onto the Cardinals.

Gotta pray for Puig and Ramirez.:( Get better, soon!

211 game suspension issued for A-Rod, but will get to play until his appeal is heard. As a Yankee fan however I cannot wait to be rid of him.

Jay Leno is a joke.
Which is weird because you would think a joke would be able to actually make a joke.

Definitely. I keep waiting for them to explode and return to 2012 form but thankfully for us they haven't. I was on the edge of my seat during the later innings last night.

This A-Rod thing is a total mess. I hated them giving him that huge contract in the first place, but after the 2009 season I thought maybe it was worth it. But ever since then it has been a failure. As much as I really don't like A-Rod, I am a Yankee fan. I will fully support and root for anybody on my team.

I'm not a Yankees fan at all, but I am a Patriots fan and there is absolutely no way I could support Hernandez. I know it's a different scenario, but to blindly support a player simply because he's allowed to wear the uniform is just wrong!

You have a point. I never liked A-Rod ever since he first took steroids, and the Yankees were always a good team so I didn't exactly root for him, I just tolerated him. But this season we can't hit. I've seen the Yankees lose so many game 1-0, or 2-1. With A-Rod coming back, we finally have a true 3rd baseman for the first time since May. As much as I hate what he did, and hate it even more now that he did it AGAIN, I am hoping he can help us for this season until we can get some of our guys back from injury. I didn't want him to come back in the first place, but now that he is appealing we might as well use him.
