#1. Is it just me, or whenever you hear Danger Zone (the Top Gun theme song) played you wanna do something EXTREME. Also, whenever the music is used for something OTHER than an aerial dogfight... doesn't it just make things seem a little funny?

#2. Is it just me, or has the quality of the food at Wendy's REALLY gone down in past months. I can actually taste different "particles" in their burgers.

#3. Doesn't a Cadillac CTS seem really cool right now? As do white, marble, and silver suits and pale white dreadlocks?

#4. Is every high ranking White House advisor quitting lately?

#5. Is Canada still there? I haven't heard from them since my last round of dealing with Telemarketers on my cellphone. I'm actually worried about Canada.

#6. Who is the better Mermaid? A- Vince, aka Merheated; B- Mermaid Man from Spongebob Squarepants; or C- Darryl Hannah

1- Danger zone,never liked the song,my favorite song from top gun was that song by Berlin called take my breathe away
2- yes I think the quality of food at Wendy`s has slipped but I still love it.
3- OMG I love those suits,but I`m not fond of the dreadlocks! :lol: Love the car though.
4- I haven`t heard of any advisor quitting!:lol: Shows you how much I watch the news!
5- Canada is still there they`re just all asleep!:lol:
6- Daryl Hannah by far! :slurp:

#1: *takes out album soundtrack and blows dust off* I love Hot Summer Nights! Danger Zone does make me want to go fast and furious.
#2: If Wendy's meat shrinks anymore on the burgers; they will no longer be in the burger business and could get Pamela Anderson to advertise veggie burgers for them. I have to admit though that their drive-thru is the most efficient around here.
#3: Not a fan of Cadillacs-------Harleys for me
#4: yes they are
#5: Canada is the route bill collectors go to call the US on Sundays and holidays.

#1: I used to get pumped up for baseball games with "Danger Zone". That and the main theme from the movie. Classic stuff.

#2: I've been thinking the same thing lately. Maybe cause I eat there too much, but the #2 Classic Double combo is slack.

#3: Anything with dreadlocks is cool. At least that what society trys to tell me. As for the car, sure, why not?

#4: Not very into politics, so I can't really comment on this comment.

#5: Canada is definently still around. Hiding. In the shadows. Ready to invade. With Hockey Sticks. And there beady eyes.

#6: Daryll Hannah. Hands down.

2 - Yup. Couple of years now. It makes me ill.

5 - Yeah, the blasted idiots were on ESPN2 showing the NHL Draft today. Not the espn people, the canadian broadcasters.

1) Yes... I admit... I have the "Top Gun" Soundtrack in my CD changer in my car right now :lol: Its fun to do 80mph on the inbound Kennedy Expressway in Chicago to that song...lol

2) Yes, Wendys is getting suckie... my stepmonster er... mother.. got sick from one of there new salads last month. :hurl:

3) Caddy CTS IS the Shizznick, and as is still on the top of my list to get when I trade in my Nissan.

thats a horible thing to say. People from my city are getting sick and even dying from this terrible disease, and all you can say is you hope it will bring movie productions back to your city?

I agree. The irony though, which is also tongue-in-cheek, yet real - is even WITH SARS, (and heck - let's throw in West Nile and Mad Cow) you're over four times more likely to die in any city in the US (adjusted for population) because the murder rate is so low in Toronto. Go figure.

The whole SARS thing is a blown out of proportion in a big way - but it's a big "news" story, so...it'll get play.

A girl I used to date, owned a prop house here in Chicago... she is now out of business cause Toronto stole a HUGE chunk of Chicagos movie industry... Cause Toronto promises low wages and non union workers... so yes... I am a little bitter about that... I am NOT happy about the fact that people are dying.... I was just stating a fact is all.

Im extremely sorry for my post. I did not intentionaly try to twist your words. Im just tired of hearing all of this SARS, mad cow, not joining the war stuff on the news all the time, and I was grumpy yesterday, and then I read that post, and ya, I got a little upset, but that should be no excuse for my behaviour. Once again DMC 12 I apologize. I also apologize for Toronto having low wages and non union workers
