This is the first time we've ever succeded at it. SW must have done some serious overbooking, because we heard them offer the same thing on at least 6 other flights while we were waiting. It's really a great deal if you don't mind the waiting.

Remember, a few years back, there were meteor showers?
We got up in the middle of the night, took blankets and a thermos of hot chocolate down to the river bank (about a 1 minute walk from our building) and laid flat on our backs and watched them.
It was amazing.
Certainly didn't feel like I was in Philadelphia.

We've lived here for six years, so it couldn't have been more than 5 years ago. I think the showers were estimated to start at about 4 AM. They lasted a long time. It was a cool experience.
