Oh, and our Medic Alert bracelets and necklaces got here Saturday. Mine is a bracelet, MJ's is a necklace.
Are they standard medic alert, or have you found something different. Technically my GF should wear one but she does not like the thought of a big chunky bracelet or necklace advertising the fact.

Whew! Just got back in. It was a long morning, but fun. I watched a Signing Time video with one of the little girls I was watching. It was cute. I actually knew more signs from it then I thought I would. The rain came, naturally.:( So it is rainy, and cold here. Not fun at all.

Afternoon.

I have had the busiest morning. Marc finally got around to re-formatting my computer, which I hope fixes the problems I've been having with it. Unfortunatley I've spent most of the morning getting my ducks back in a row. Everything is screwed up, and it's taken me all morning to do a few very simple tasks.

Anyways, catching up on the 60+ pages you guys have been busy with since Friday...

A Belated Happy Mother's Day to all the new and experienced Moms out there

Connor, Marc will now have to hunt you down for posting that awful, looks-nothing-like-him pic of him in the crown on the thread... I just wanted you to be warned. :lookaroun

Meet-ups are great fun! I'm not the most social person on the planet, but it was a great expeience meeting up with everyone. It is, admittedly, easier to think up and then type witty comments when you have a second or two to think of them, but we were never at a loss for words! ( I don't think Bonny would ever make that possible! ) Even Marc agreed, and he's less social than I am.

Dan, sorry to hear about the death in your school. That can be tough!

Bonny - Love the Pics! Hope you're feeling better! Did Marc ever respond to you about the Front Page thing? Love the wedding pic - especially the flowers! They're beautiful!

Freddy - Welcome back! Sorry about the rain!

Clowns are indeed, very scary.

Joanna - sorry about your hamster! Losing a pet is awful, especially when it's unexpected like that. *Hugs!*

Dot - SO glad you had a good time dress shopping. Also, glad to hear that she found one she likes. It's so pretty! Is it from David's? I wish I was that way. It took me about 7 trips to different stores, and over 100 dresses to find "the one."

US Joe - Love the MJ is Buckets title for the next thread - now all you have to do is make sure Connor doesn't beat you to it! :lookaroun

US Joe, and Michael - I was going to say something about girls and such, but then I got to the pages where you started going on about MILFs. Umm, yeah. I, for one, would rather such things not be discussed on this thread - it's all about a 5 year old after all. I would appreciate it :)

Betty - wow! You'll be back before I ever get around to finish my trip report! Are you packed yet?

I think that just about covers everything... now that I've blown my lunch hour getting caught up, it's back to the grindstone for me.

Hey guys! :) Hope everyone is having a good - non stormy day... we had a tornado (well 3 actually) here last night, and hail larger than golf balls... it was really scary... my sister was out driving with her husband in it - the storms came up really quickly and they almost got in an accident... on a bridge... over 100 feet in the air... (someone turned around on the bridge when they saw the twister and headed straight for their car)... but God has a better plan than that for them and after barely missing the oncoming car - they made it home in one piece... scared and totally freaked out - but safe all the same. Lizzy loved the storm - she thought the hail was funny... she went right back to sleep after the storm and slept soundly til morning... I on the other hand spent the better part of the night with the radio on next to her crib... i was so afraid another storm was going to pick up and hit us - i wanted to be awake just in case... 2 more storms came - struck - just a small amount of hail... baby and jay slept through them both... it hit me around 4 this morning that I must truly be a mom - who in their right mind would wait up just to listen to the radio to see if there's another storm coming... a mom - that's who. :)

So... anyway - today's been slow - (rightfully so as I'm working on less than 3 hours sleep) ;)

Hope everyone stayed safe! :)

Wow! Scary. Twisters are one of my biggest fears. I have had recurring nightmares about them since I was a kid. Glad everyone is safe!

Yes, it was very scary... Although I can handle a twister much easier than a hurricane - i guess that's b/c I grew up with twisters... OT: why do twisters always seem to hit at night? it's so creepy... ;)

Really? To me a hurricane is nothin. And we don't even get twisters up this way that often, but we do get hurricanes. I can probably pin it on fear of the unknown and watching the Wizard of OZ one too many times when I was a kid, I guess.

Hi Joanna, Bunny, Jess, and whoever else is out there!
Boy, Jess, that's really scarey. I'm with Bunny on that one. Tornadoes just scare the bejeezus out of me. I think it's probably because they come up with so little warning. Hurricanes can be a lot more damaging, but at least you have time to get away from them if you have to!

Oh, and Bunny, I've been packed for a week now!:lol::lol::lol:
