I used to be the same way. Marc always got his rare or medium rare, and I'd get medium or medium well. Then I tried some of his... then a bit more...and ended up polishing it off for him. Plus, the longer a food is cooked, the more nutrients that are cooked out of it. Well, or medium well is usually reserved for lesser cuts of meat, ask any steakhouse. They reccommend it cooked longer so you don't notice how tough it it.

I didn't know that.
I usually order medium well.
But a little pinker is okay, depending on the cut.

I'm hurt that none of you are cat people. :( But I'm not getting into a Cats vs. Dogs argument on here. I'll just say that my rescued kitties are the most wonderful animals on earth. I love them dearly, especially my special needs baby, James. MY cats are certainly not evil, are not destructive, and have the most affectionate personalities.

I have 4 cats and they are not evil or bad at all. One hides alot. She is the baby. The are very lovable and sweet.

You've got 4 too? We weren't supposed to keep all 4 of ours, but we grew so attached to them, that when we found a home, we told them they were all spoken for.

I'm a burnt kinda girl, in fact I have them butterfly filet just to sure it's all brown....


Of course I haven't been able to eat and kind of meat in quite some time now with my teeth....

well poo...but I thought that's how it would be.

I was just hoping it wasn't b/c more than likely, the next time we go, we will stay at an off-site hotel b/c what's his name works for one and gets to stay for free.
