I did too.
In the beginning, I thought Tom Hanks forgot everything he ever knew about acting. But then the story took over, and I was able to get into it. I thought it was almost as interesting as the book.

I suppose it was just my kind of movie.

I enjoy fiction based in some fact. This was definitely a movie for me.
I actually would parallel it with National Treasure.

I don't believe I haven't seen National Treasure yet.

It is one of my favorites, and similarly to TDVC, the critics did not like it.
There are actually a fair share of scenes downtown.
