DH has the habit of embarrassing each of us no matter where we are by telling the wait staff that one of us is celebrating a birthday (generally when we are not), so we get sung to on a regular basis. The humor of this wore off years ago!
Naturally, he "discreetly" excused himself from the table, but while he was gone, we summoned our waiter, and told him that DH was probably going to tell them that it was DD's birthday, but that in fact it was HIS, so no matter what he says, don't believe him! This worked like a charm, and the entire restaurant sang to him as the waiter brought over a brownie with a candle in it. It was so hilarious..... we finally got him!!

My usual visit to my Mom at the nursing home.
Then grocery shopping, which I really hate.
Then back home.
I should be back here at some point today.
Exciting day, huh?

Blah dee dah... I don't feel like working today. The sun is out, it's not too hot, not too chilly. I just want to go for a walk.

But no. Stuck at a desk, and unmotivated am I. Anyone know any motivatoin tricks I could use? Because I've got a stack o' work to do, and it's not helping! :brick:

Light a fire under your butt. Not only will it encourage you to work faster, you can also take care of some useless documents in the process... :lookaroun
