Are you sure you know what's going on?

:lookaroun

J?

Is that a not-so-subtle allusion to Dot's keyboard troubles?

Or do I REALLY not know what's going on?

Or both? :lookaroun

You know, on a girl, that nasally sound is very sexy. (Or so I've been told) :p (I know, random)

Glad you’re feeling better and good luck with the exams. :)

I don't need a nasally voice to sound sexy ;)

I believe she said nasally on a woman is sexy... I think it has the opposite effect on men. :lookaroun

HaHA!
In a roundabout way, I just said Luke isn't sexy!

So I guess that makes you the judge on whether or not teenage males are sexy :lookaroun

I can critique both sexes if I want.
Of course, ever man would be called not sexy, while every woman would be, in hopes that Connor would... you know :p

:lookaroun HaHA!
I'm a smart-a$s.

Well, my day was interesting. OF course I taught my kids. Today was a catered lunch for the teachers by the PTA. We were supposed to be able to eat lunch while our kids were eating but of course ESE teachers often eat with their students. Fine. THe speech teacher is doing a party for the kids right after lunch and we can get our lunches then, no problem. RIGHT! the food didn't show up until 12:30 2 hours after we have our lunch. And then it was cold and not very appealing. We did get desserts though as the parents brought these. Fresh strawberries, pumpkin spice cake and cheese cubes. Kids got pizza in celebration of 2 of the 5th graders getting 2nd and 3rd place in the deaf spelling bee.
Get the kids on the buses at 2pm and then took my friend to another school to register her son for kindergarden. We arrived and I was told that they weren't sure if they were still registering today. I wasn't having that. Told her that I had gotten permission from my principal to leave and come interpret for my friend and there was no way I was leaving before my kids dismissal time.
They paged the woman who does the registering and she came down to the office and nearly freaked out when she saw my friend's guide dog laying on the floor. Is scared of dogs but once she composed herself she was quite pleasant and helpful. My friend is deaf-blind (very limited vision) and a brittle diabnetic. We asked about where the bus stop would be and the woman is going to try to get his bus set up as door to door. Also gave my friend a form to fill out for volunteering and going on field trips. We explained that the dog would need to come with her and that's ok. Also explained that the school needs to get an interpreter for any meetings and the need to call through relay. She also offered to blow up any papers sent home to her or have the teacher communicate with her via relay or computer. Took her home.
Baby Samuel's Memorial Service was this evening and I was interpreting for the deaf so I had to be there early. Just before the service one of the preachers informed me that a friend from our old church had passed away and her funeral is tomorrow. Then I had tears running down my face during the entire service. It was beautiful and showed how much love and faith this family has. Samuel lived just over 6 hours but he impacted so many people. The parents didn't want flowers or such but asked us to donate to a new ministry they recently helped start for special needs children who can't be mainstreamed in a normal Sunday School classroom.
Then to rehearse with the choir for Sunday and then to deaf Bible study. My coleader is getting out of the hospital tmw after 5 weeks. PTL.
Then home and I am beat. Time for bed. You started a new thread without me. :( Oh well that's what I get for working and having no computer access during the day.

Joe! I am so jealous tht you got to read Alan Alda's autobiography! I havne't been able to afford it yet and he is one of my all time favorites!
It's a good little book, but a tad on the thin side. Very entertaining thought with a lot of new things I did not realise about him.
