I had just finished reading book 5 and my boss's son was in the office one day visiting. I noticed he was also reading it and I go "Weren't you so upset when______________?" And he goes "_____________????". I'm like "Oh, s-word! I didn't realize you hadn't gotten to that part yet! Sorry, little dude!"

Hey everyone..sorry to have been MIA, I am in the middle of a Fibromyalgia flare up (the first one I have had in a long time) so I have had my hands full with just taking care of MJ.
MJ is fine, Andrew has been taking her out a lot when he gets home so I can rest.
I have been rereading 4 and 6 just like most of the rest of you. I am also working on learning to modify my photos in Paint Shop Pro 5, I'm still categorizing and sizing all of them.
Tomorrow morning we have a consultation with an oral surgeon to fix my teeth, then we just have to find someone to do the dentures, so I am much closer to getting help with that, I really think this will help with some of my migraines.
Glad everyone here is well, I'll try to check in tomorrow and let you all know what the surgeon says.

Why aren't people reading 5? I was planning on reading 3, 5 and 6 before the last one comes out... I may be wrong, but it seems like these are a bit more "important" than 4... (other than the ending of 4):shrug:

I've read 1-4 enough (as well as seen each movie) that I don't think I need too much refreshing there. I read 5 for the second time right before 6 came out, and read 6 last month for the second time. I'll also see the movie for 5 before I read 7, so I think I'll be pretty well set on refresher courses.

Bonny, glad to hear you're finally getting something done about your teeth and I think that a lot of people aren't reading 5 b/c the movie comes out right before and they think they'll get the main points from the movie.

B) Obviously, I am biased towards the series... hence my username. ;p
As for the fifth HP book, it had been my favorite. The overall plot was more insidious and psychological than the previous installments, and the new characters were a hoot, especially Luna.
C) I was quite upset that people were shouting out the spoilers at book stores after reading HBP. I tried to avoid spoilers online and such. I had a few theories that were proven to be correct, and there were a few big surprises as well. Since I enjoy writing fanfiction, I was prepared for many alternate possibilities. I'm hoping that the final book ties things up neatly enough, especially questions that I had that were not answered in Half-Blood Prince.
(And I'm still rooting for Luna/Harry romance, but will enjoy Ginny/Harry if written in a believable manner.)

a friend of mine claims that a friend of a friend (which I don't know whether to believe it or not, but my friend said that friend was pretty detailed about stuff...so you never know.) stole book number 7 in a wharehouse down in TX and while I told my friend I didn't want to know anything, he did tell me that everything was summed up really nicely.
