Wow. I don't know how I would handle having such a big family. Especially since I went nearly nuts this weekend with DH's family. I'm an only child because my dad died when I was almost 3, so I was raised by my mom and MomMom. DH's family isn't all that big, just him and 2 brothers, but for someone who's from a really small family, that can seem like a lot! :wave:

It's really not as bad as it may seem. I enjoy having a big family (though it does get crazy somtimes). I'm just glad I'm on the top end of things (instead of being on the bottom). There is a 15 year difference between me and my youngest brother (and 4 years between me and my older sister). So it's fun.

Wow, that's quite an age difference! At least you won't get lonely. I was often kinda alone as a kid. All I ever wanted for Christmas was a little sister to play with. Though DH tells me that I would have never been able to get used to sharing the attention. :lookaroun

Just popping in for a minute.

I'm the middle one of seven (2 older brothers, 2 younger brothers, 1 older sister, 1 younger sister

Don't know how my parents did it - 2 drive me nuts at times. But it was fun growing up with all those siblings - my kids have 21 first cousins!

Holy cow! I've got 2 first cousins, and I barely saw them while I was growing up - they live in another state. It's beyond my comprehension to have a family that large.

Yeah. I only have 13 first cousins. But my family almost doubles that. And the really funny part? Out of the 13, only 1 is a girl. All the girl first cousins are in my family!:lol: The thing is, now all my family (on my dad's side) is moving south to Myrtle Beach. I guess we will just have to follow them down there. Gee, wouldn't that be a shame!:D

Good Afternoon everyone. Speaking of cousins I have 26 first cousins. My mom had 5 brothers and 2 sisters. My grandfather had 21 kids that we know of.
