I've heard they're very eleborate... one year was on a cruise boat on the Delaware, another was at the penthouse of one of the buildings downtown, etc...

Oh. Well that's why. This year is the first one they AREN'T having it on the stage of the local theater. Now they're having it in the ballroom of a Hilton by the airport

Prom costs were included in our class dues. We didn't have a Junior prom, just a Senior prom. Prom marked my first time at successfully acquiring a date! Apparently, if I have to find a date, I can do it.

We don't have senior dues. That I know of. But I'm not a senior yet...

Senior Prom and Junior Prom are the same thiong at my school. But somehow many of the freshmen and sophomores seem to get in...

And congrats on the date! A little better than I did last homecoming (I did have a date, but it was more of a friend thing).

Danny's semi-formal reminded me that Prom is this Saturday at my school...

Already? Ours is June 2nd...late this year. Its being held at the Officer's Club in West Point. Classy!

Good evening, everyone...LOOOOOONG weekend. We drove up to Watertown, NY, to visit my elderly aunt in the hospital. She's moving to an assisted-living facility later this week, so we wanted to check the place out and reassure her. The facility is actually quite nice, and her roommate is very pleasant, but it's a very emotional time for my aunt. It took us about four hours each way to make the trip...time well-spent, of course, but still a drive. And, if there's a more depressing city than Watertown, I don't want to know about it.

Wow, Watertown is where my greatgrandparents lived. Great grandfather and then grandfather owned Hyde Plumbing and Heating. They lived in the beautiful 2 story house with beautiful gardens. I loved going there.
Grandfather lived in Ogdensburg if you know where that is.

Had to work today. Spring break is next week. I'll be free all week. Wish I could go to WDW but I have comittments here.

But you'll be here for almost 2 weeks in June!!!!!

Much to my advantage... I really do suck at fast dancing.

One of the rules to a happy life is "dance like nobody is watching". Works for me

OK - except when I'm on-stage in a show when I know 2000 people are watching.
