Yes I am - but I'm not sure about the timing on it. I type in everything it said to do, but I don't see anything verifying the time, so I'm just trying to keep an eye on it now.

I just read the next page of the directions, and apparently when it is 3/4 of the way done, a light will come on followed by a series of beeps, so you can check how it's doing. I'm getting the hang of this I guess.

Just make sure you hang on to that set of directions! (At least we read them. DH scoffs that men don't need directions. Their instincts tell them how things work )

We already went through that scene last night - he was trying to figure out the oven controls, while I sat down and read the book. It was really funny because every time he'd push a button it would either erase everything he had done or sound a beep. :lol::lol::lol:

That scene sounds verrrry familliar. Men are the same the world over, I guess. I poked fun at DH because he did have to resort to directions when he assembled our bed, and I was away on a business trip. He didn't know what to do, called the help line, and everything, but would not look at the directions for the life of him. Eventually he had to submit. :lol:

Well, crud, the ncancelled my MRI... they didn't get an authorization...sigh...we were out late last night, so we are getting an early start today and may stop and see Illuminations...

Mmmmm...Cookies!

Tried to give blood on Saturday, and they told me I am anemic. Not seriously, but in order to "survive" the loss of a pint, you need to be over 12.5 hemoglobin. I was 12.2. In a normal situation, no one would give that reading a second thought.

ANYWAY...I was told to eat raisins. Not a huge fan of the un-altered raisin, so I am baking oatmeal cookies with extra raisins. This afternoon when I pick up DS and vote I'll get some chocolate covered raisins as well.

Hey..I know what you're thinking, but this is medicine!

here's the recipe for anyone so inclined.
3/4 c. shotening
1 c. brown sugar
1/2 c sugar
1/4 c. water
1 egg
1 c. flour
3. c oatmeal
1 t. salt
1/2 t. baking soda
1 t. cinnamon
1/2 t. cloves
1 c. raisins
1 c. nuts (I use walnuts)

Bake at 350 for 12-15 minutes, but check them after 10 if you're making smaller cookies.
