Bye Bunny,

Thanks Freddy....She just keeps getting sick back to back, but it is all viral, not much they can do...

I can tell she feels crummy, she cuddled for a bit and just now asked to get back in bed, so not like her...

I will Luke, thanks!

Susan, welcome to the thread!

The taco casserole sounds good, can it be adjusted without the spices?

I don't see why not, recipes are just jumping off points anyway. Its usually only the first time That I make something that I follow the recipe exactly. Add your favorite seasoning instead of the Taco seasoning and some chunky tomato sauce for the salsa.

Taco Macaroni Casserole
one pound lean ground beef or turkey
1/2 cup chopped onion
one 15 ounce can tomato sauce
1 cup water
1/2 cup chunky salsa
2 cups uncooked elbow macaroni
2 teaspoons taco seasoning
3/4 cup shredded cheddar cheese

In a large skillet brown meat & onion. In slowcooker combine meat mixture, tomato sauce , water & salsa. Stir in uncooked macaroni and taco seasoning. Cover and cook on low for 4 hours. Add cheddar cheese. Mix well to combine. Recover and cook on Low for 10 or 15 minutes until cheese melts. Mix well before serving

Can they give her something to help boost her immune system?

They've started her on new vitamins, we may have to see an imunologist... she isn't in school or daycare or even any playgroups, so she shouldn't really be so sick...

I call it beefy mac casserole. To me goulash is the hungarian dish. Guess it just depends on where you were born.

Do you have any special requests?
