Yeah, I had a baaaad family situation.... abuse, alcoholism, drugs.... you name it... it happened to me....

I also married at 18 the first time, unfortunately to an abusive alcoholic....

It was the 70s.
And of course times have changed.
And for the better in some respects.
And that would be one of them, for sure!
People don't get married that young now!
Good thing!
It's important to live a bit, decide what you want out of life.
Work for a while. Put some money away for the future.
You kids are much smarter than we were!
