Awww hugs.

Thanks.
I'm not complaining. . . just missing it.
But this Friday George and I celebrate our 33rd anniversary and then on Halloween our Baby Girl will be 25.
That should keep me happy for a bit.

Sorry had MJ in my lap so I could only type one handed. After Studios, we'll go to DtD to go Trick or Treating.

When the Princess wants to be held, she will be held!

Yay for your anniversary. Ours is on Halloween (that was Andrew's idea) it will be 9 years.

When PrincessM wants anything she pretty well gets it, it's hard to deny her and she doesn't realize she can make us do anything for her, so it's not manipulative. Plus she's still sick, so.....

I forgot Yay for 25...the 5's and 0's don't bother me so much, but it's the 6's that get me....

yes. It sure is. I'm nervous about the inspections on Friday...but after the inspection, I get to leave to go to Chicago and go to Six Flags up there for Fright Fest! :sohappy:

At least the inspection will let you know what you're dealing with. You don't want any surprises!

Yay for Chicago and Six Flags!

What's wrong?

Nothing and everything. I guess I was more worried about the teachers meeting more than I thought. The meeting weet ok. My DD is having a tough time reading fluency and copying written work. So they are trying to test her for dislexia. Not that I am against it but though the school is a red flag for me. Since I have had problems with the school before on this stuff.

Can you have her tested on your own?
I don't know much about this kind of thing. . .

To add to the overall pall across the boards:

My dad works/worked at Ford, but is currently on disability leave. They could ask him to take early retirement at any moment.

As a result, my mom is applying for a full-time job, but is EXTREMELY nervous/doubtful about it.

My sister... well, pre-college jitters, I suppose.

And on top of it all, my grandma's social security people got my grandpa's date of death wrong by 2 days. Medicare got the wrong info, therefore they're currently refusing to pay the $79 000 medical bill for Papa.

...Let it be known that I seem to hate both the education and healthcare system at the moment. :brick: :(

Hugs Susan, if you ever need to talk, let me know. We are homeschooling MJ because of my fear of what might happen to her in school...

Yeah, I'll be 38 in just a few weeks, commence the worrying about 40.....
