We're planning to go see MIL this afternoon, since we're pretty busy all weekend, but I hate driving the van over the bridges when it's windy. Hopefully, Dave will want to take his car instead!
How is your MIL doing?

She's doing well - next week she'll turn 88, so we're planning a little party for her. Her mind is OK, but I think she gets pretty bored there. How is your MIL doing?

Did I tell you we're going to NY tomorrow to see Hofstra University?
It's right on Long Island - about 20 or 30 miles outside of NYC. DS isn't too sure it's what he wants, but I'm hoping the music program there is enough to light his fire a little. No!
That should be fun!
In which part of the state is Hofstra located?

That's how I feel - so many opportunities close by without living in the city!Oh, I didn't realize it was so close to NYC!
What a great location!

Me too! She's certainly earned the rest!I wonder how Bunny's doing.
I can't wait to hear all about it!
I hope she comes back rested and happy!

Is Dana doing better now?
Hopefully she has lots of help. I think she can probably hold Maggie - just can't pick her up.I don't know.
I didn't hear from her yesterday.
I don't think she stopped in here. . .unless I missed her.
It must be hard not being able to hold Maggie! I'm sure she's hating that!

The rain seeems to have let up, so I'm going to try to head out now before Round 2! Have a good day - talk to you later!

Good Morning!
It looks like it is going to be a rainy, yucky day here too. I have my orientation at Bath and Body today, so I'm pretty excited about getting out of the house and meeting some people.![]()
I'm not sure how our weekend is going to turn out. My husbands grandmother is back in the hospital and all he has told me is "it's not good" I'm guessing that means we will be taking a trip back home in the next couple of days. She turned 90 this summer, we just saw her last Sunday and she seemed to be doing really well...I guess we'll see happens.![]()
That is less than 5 minutes away from where I live. The campus looks really nice.
Good morning Chrissy!
((HUGS)) and prayers for your hubby's grandmother.
Hope you enjoy your orientation!
Thanks!
So do you have any big plans for the weekend?
There is a haunted hayride near-by and I was hoping that we were going to get the chance to go there, but I'm not sure if my husband wants to go home or not (he's not exactly the best person when it comes to communicating)
My husband loves italian hoagies, you'll have to let me know how they are. We visit Philadelphia every once and awhile because we still have some friends there, and we are always looking for new places to eat.
This is a little take-out deli place that you wouldn't look at twice in passing, but I can tell you the sandwich I had from there was amazing, and I'm really not much of a sandwich eater. I'll let you know how the sampling goes!
His favorite kind of places are the small ones. When we went on our honeymoon he wouldn't allow me to book us at an all inclusive resort because he wanted to be able visit all the small, local places. And since he is 100% Italian....anything that says italian in the name is good for him![]()
