And everything else went really well too. but the important part is... I got my girly. Exclusively. Soley. I didn't lose her. God Is Good.​

It's a repo-ed house...so it needs some work...but not a whole lot. Just the essentials like new carpet, paint, etc...but that's all normal.

It's a three bedroom, 2 bathroom house. Got a huge kitchen which has been mostly remodeled and a large L shaped family room. A nice remodeled master bath. It has a sun porch and a large basement with another "extra" bedroom in it. It's got a one car garage and a large backyard with 4 large trees (which I like, but what's his face doesn't b/c it's got leaves and sticks.)

It will eventually need new windows because they are older. And the second bathroom will need to be redone eventually because it still looks like it did from the 60s/70s. I will also like to get the basement totally finished in the future. But that will be after we get all the stuff we need to get done upstairs done.

I'll get pics loaded soon.

Well yes. But I have sole custody. He still get's her Sunday's all day (no more FIL though) and Wednesdays for 3 hours. But that part was up to me as well. I don't want to take her from him completely... I'm not spiteful. But after all he's done to us, i refused split custody. She doesn't need all that nonsense right now. 2 days a week is enough to keep in good contact without her picking up any of those horrible temper issues. I hope...

Yay Nibbs!!! :sohappy: I'm so excited for y'all! So is the contract ratified yet? It's definatly yours as long as the inspections and financing come through?!

Sounds terrific! ..and keep in mind that once you own a house, there's always something you want to do to it! 23 years here and it's still a work in progress!

Thanks girlies!!! I cried when i picked her up from daycare afterwords. I just held her and it felt so good knowing she wasn't going anywhere. LOL All the daycare ladies were giving me hugs and stuff. Then I felt kinda silly. hahah... but on a serious note... My heart feels a million times lighter. I feel like i've been holding my breath ever since I first signed the papers for the split... worrying and waiting... hoping and praying... but nothing like this peace I feel right now.


Lizzy and I are going to be okay guys. We are. I know it now.
