I remember moving from a not so good day care to a really good one when I was about 4. I was raised by a young, single mommy so the first place was not desirable but what she was able to do at the time.

No problem!!

So..it sounds like Lizzy has a great day care now!

awww... well i'm glad you can look at it like that now, I'm hoping lizzy understands why I had to put her in daycare. I hate it so bad... but I'm hoping and praying it's only for a season. This seems to be a big improvement. But... I know it'll be years before she understands... :(

Once she moved me to the other place I really liked it...I have a lot of good memories from there. She will understand that her mommy loves her and did what she had to for her :)

Hi.

I just printed both recipes out so I can make them for Thanksgiving. Yum yum:slurp:

I always look forward to Thanksgiving! There is a possibility that my husband might have to be on call and we not get to go home :( That will be really strange...and I am definetly not up for attempting my first big Thanksgiving dinner for just the 2 of us...hopefully it will all work out and we will make it home.

I did a big Thanksgiving about 2 yrs ago here at home for my family (7) instead of going to my parents about 2.5 hrs away from us. I didn't like it. I missed having fun with my sisters. The guys in my family said they would help but just a little of what they said came true. The rest was me.

Good evening everyone. Today was a really good day. I had lunch with my really close friend at the Garden View Lounge at the GF for her birthday. Let me tell you- the food there is amazing! And it doesn't even come in big portions. I got a package (I can't say the word- it gets sensored out) with the English Breakfast tea (I think that's what it was- it was plain black tea). This is what comes in the package. First comes tea sandwiches. There is: a cucumber and watercress sandwich, a chicken salad sandwich, a shrimp salad sandwich, some kind of pear sandwich, and an egg salad sandwich. Next comes a scone and jam tart. And last comes desert. I got a bowl of strawberries and cream. The whole thing was delicious!:slurp: And the best part about the tea is that you get a whole teapot to yourself. Which means you can put as much milk and suger as you want in your tea. The lunch was a lot of fun. I'm glad my friend invited me. After lunch, we headed over to the MK for a little bit before I started work. I was supposed to be with the Walrus and White Rabbit again. But I ended up with Minnie. That was fun. I needed a change of pace. And tomorrow I am off, and going to mnsshp as a guest. In fact, I am attending the party with Bonny and MJ. Can't wait to see them. So I am off to bed now. Night!
