I haven't read any of those although The Life of Pi has been on my list forever! The Book Thief looks unusual. Death as a narrator? Intriguing.

Are you taking SAT's this weekend Luke? (DS is)

Nope!

I'm proud to say that I'm never taking the SATs ever again. I got my highest score in 10th grade (1300) and my cumulative score is a 1310. Good enough to get me into the OSU Honors College, good enough for me not to have to take it again.

Senior year is much more relaxing knowing that  :D

School, school, and quite a bit more school.

With some cross country thrown in here and there. But it's worth it. After this semester, I'll only need one more Community College class credit to have my AA.

If only I'd passed my AP Government or Economics exams. Then I could have graduated Community College before I graduated high school. Now THAT'S a feat

AA?

The review about Life of Pi saying that was in defense of zoos made me check it out right away

And for The Book Thief, I'm interested in anything regarding the Holocaust aspect of WWII.

Haven't read any of them either. DS is actually reading books that I've heard of this year. Amazing!

In AP, we just finished Alice's Adventures in Wonderland. My friend and I (we led the readings/tests/etc) did a presentation today and we brought cookies. Everyone loved it.

I think our next book is Gulliver's Travels.

Yay! DS has a 1930 with the new scoring - about a 1260 with the old way (DD had a 1580), so he wants to try to bring it up a little.

Oh, I forgot about the new test. I have no idea what I got on the writing section. 600 something. But I got an 11 on the essay, which is a score I definitely like.

Alice in Wonderland always made me feel like I was reading a nightmare.
