What a cutie!! I keep telling my hubby that Layla needs a new friend but he won't go for it. His mom has adopted 4 indoor and 3 outdoor cats who have wandered up to the house...he calls her the cat lady and says he doesn't want our tiny apartment to turn into that :lol:

Our client has a few stores, so It's not them.. which makes me glad. That way you can't get me in trouble for checking in here every so often during the day! :lol:

If they are a family owned store I'm pretty sure I know who they are...in fact one member of the family is neighbors with my husbands cousins...don't worry I won't tell! A little fun at work is always a good thing!

She was almost a year old then - she was very tiny 'til she discovered that the dog doesn't eat her food right away...:lol:

We're doing pretty well. I've actually been quite productive during my "time away" from y'all LOL I've got 2 new piano students (grandmother and grandaughter... should be fun) They start next week. I just did their initial consultations Monday and they start their lessons next Friday so that's good. And I've been in the gym every day after work so that's a plus too. hmmm... Lizzy's over her cold, but she has allergies... darn father's gene's. So her eyes are a bit red right now and she's a bit sniffly but nothing too major. Switching her daycare next week. Long story... lol but it's a good thing. Getting excited for my trip... I think I've finally decided on the dates... November 8-13 possibly. Assuming those are the dates I go with I've got less than a month!!! YAY!!!! Love my job. Good bosses... good people to work with.

Anyway... so how are y'all?

We actually have 3 cats. Thelma and Louise we adopted together (although they are not siblings), and my daughter's cat, Angel, lives with us, but hates us all.

If I don't keep myself busy I'll go crazy... I can only read so much *gasp* i know... but for real people... I've gone through 11 books in 5 days. Seriously. LOL...


As to the daycare... I like the security... but I'm not thrilled with Lizzy's new teacher... they just swapped her and she's a bit nuts. (think: coolaid in lizzy's bottle before naptime... :brick:AND lizzy can no longer have a ponytail to keep her hair out of her eyes... AND the new menu consists of 5 days of fast food. Not my thing.... I'm proud of my healthy baby - i'm not going to have that all shot to pieces by her eating Arby's and McD's 5 days a week. How gross.) soooo that's the long and short of it. LOL

Wow..definetly doesn't sound like the best enviornment for a child...and people wonder about childhood obesity :brick:

My thoughts exactly. I was floored when I got the letter... the facility is so nice, the area is great, it's such a good location.... but the food issue was just too much for me. The daycare I have her signed up for has a cook come in and cook chicken, turkey, veggies and fruit daily for teh kids. That's definatly more my level. Their snacks are fresh fruit or animal crackers. I can handle that. They WILL NOT serve anything besides milk and apple juice to the kids.. which I'm very glad about. So.... though I'm not thrilled about the move, i think it'll be a good thing in the end. It's about 5 minutes away from my work, so that's not too bad.

Biting as in cleaning between the claws and pads, or actually chewing on the nails? Mine do that all the time when they clean themselves.
