They've already agreed to the plea bargain (one of the owners gets 4 years, the other gets community service), and the judge just announced that he won't change his mind today, regardless of the testimonies that people will be doing today. This state is just so crooked - I can't wait to leave it!

I have to go too - DD asked me to pick up a few things for her at the grocery store since she won't be getting here 'til late tonight.

Lots to do today..
I do indeed have gallstones and they want to remove my gallbladder..soo I have a consultation on Tuesday to discuss the laproscopic surgery..
They say it will be an outpatient thing...UGH!!!:(

Oh well thats life..

Gallbladder surgery is not the horror it used to be, thank God. But of course no surgery is fun. Sorry you have to go through this!

She wasn't too happy with me.

I've got a great hair dresser. She's absolutely the best. But to avoid hair problems (not saying that any of you do this...but I've noticed this) I don't go to the cheapy places like Great Clips. I go to an actual salon. It may cost me a little bit more...but I have never not loved my hair when it was all said and done. Matter of fact...I really need to get my hair cut now. Hmm...*thinks about scheduling appt.*

Sorry to hear about your surgery. I hope you didn't catch it from me :lookaroun
The surgery isn't *that* bad. The gas is wretched though. And outpatient isn't bad either. I'd rather be at home as soon as I can, and recover there, than in a hospital. Plus, I'm sure it's better for your hubby to be out of them as much as he can too.

Yay!!! Tonight I'm going house hunting again! Although I don't know if I should be happy or scared.

I'm not too thrilled with what we can afford. I mean I knew we wouldn't be able to afford much...but we REALLY can't afford much! (Matter of fact, one of the houses we looked at had a plant growing in the middle of the family room! :lol: :lookaroun) I mean...all we've looked at so far are houses that have been repossessed. And they are NOT in good shape. All of them need work...and badly. The only upside to the houses that need rehabbed are that we can then decorate them any way we want.

The downside is that looking at these houses in their current shape does not help me see them as a place I could live. It makes it harder to fall in love with it. Which makes me feel more picky.
