I hate when that happens!:fork:
Luckily, hair grows back!

Not in time for my vacation! I'm going to have to stare at myself in pictures with this awful shorn head. %^&*(%&* Hair girl didn't even LISTEN to me. I said "Just cut it shoulder legnth." And you wanna know how long it is now? CHIN Legnth! I can't even make a ponytail! I can't stick it behind my ears or it sticks out. I'm miserable.

That's how mine is now - I'm just going to have to tuck it under a hat this weekend. What part of "trim" is it so hard for them to understand?

I don't know. We were having serious communication issues. When she first chopped it off I said it was too short. Then she came back to "trim up the edges" and ended up hacking another half inch off! I sobbed in the car on the way back home.

Anyone know something to make hair grow faster? Does Gelatin work? Or is that just for nails?

Today is the sentencing hearing for the nightclub owners from the Station fire. It just started, and right now they are reading the names and showing the pictures of the 100 people who died. It's incredibly sad...

The girl who cut my hair last week cut it for the first time over the summer. It was one of the few times I was actually happy with a haircut. So I went back to her. What a disappointment this time! I don't understand it!

I feel so stupid for being such a baby about it. Part of me knows that it's just hair, and in the end, it's not such a big deal in the grand scheme of things... but every time I pass a reflective surface, I want to cry all over again.

So were we! We had seen it on the news that morning and were just stunned - Dave and I used to go to that place quite often when it was a restaurant.

Eventually that day we went over to the Beach Club to Beaches N Cream to stop thinking about it. The guard at the gate saw from Dave's licence that wew were from Rhode Isalnd, so he asked us if we had heard about it. So much for escaping!

We came home that next day, and the entire state was just in chaos. It was so awful - every day they'd update the count of deaths. A friend of ours worked in the ME's office then, and he has since had to retire on disabilities because it bothered him so much! This plea bargain they have planned now seems so unfair to all those poor souls!

It is.
Kinda makes you wonder how many of us have been in the exact same place at the same time. I bet it has happened more often than we might think. The world really can be very small!

It really is! We're definitely twins!

That trip was the same one that we laughed at the local reporter we saw on the weather channel earlier in the week standing in a foot of snow at our airport!
