lol... I skipped lunch so that I could have the crackers when i got home. :lookaroun

hahaha....

and though I love the idea of Super Walmarts. I hate ours. It's not well maintained. But it's the only grocery store within 10 Minutes of my house. I won't by fresh produce from our Walmart... :hurl: It never looks fresh. LOL I just wait until I'm visiting my mama and go to her Harris Teeter. LOVE Harris Teeter!!! hahaha... I'm a grocery store snob. :lookaroun

Harris Teeter?
Funny name!
Never heard of that one!
In the South, I'm familiar with Albertson's (which is our Acme) and Piggly Wiggly!

 Thanks sweetie. I won't say it's not tough... as sometimes it seems impossible. But on the whole. I'm learning that though I have my weak spots... I am a very strong girl. :) I am proud that I'm making a way for my girlie and I. It feels good knowing we're going to be ok. And not just ok... we're going to be even better once we get past this. But as always, thanks for the encouragement. It means alot to me.
You can say all that again! to you and Lizzy!

I'm feeling a bit better. I've had just about every symptom under the sun though. I started with a sore throat, then stuffy nose, runny nose, coughing, sneezing (the last four I still have), I was tired, lethargic, have a few aches, felt some chills last night. Everything...except a fever. I went to the Dr. this morning. They say I had a virus and now I could be on the way to getting a sinus infection

Poor Nibblies. Tea?

Hey Betty,

My first week is over! Yay! It was a great week overall! :) Kiddo's still not napping in daycare... but other than that it was a great week.

Poor Jess. Um... Tea??? :veryconfu

You and Lizzy are going through some major adjustments. It will all take time, but so far, I gotta say, you amaze me! You should really be proud of yourself, Jess!

Word. You're doing great! *pats you on your back*

random thought:

So while picking up some milk at Walmart yesterday, I spotted some Sam's Choice brand crackers... in Salsa & Cream Cheese, and a Rosemary Herb.... and they were only $1 a box! So.. I picked up a box of each... and now I'm addicted. LOL These are YUMMY!!!! A

So anyway... if any of you shop at walmart... check out the walmart brand crackers... delicious. :D

I LOVE my SuperWalmart for all the staples... but when it comes to exotic stuff and fresh produce, I'm a Wegmans girl.

Yeah Piggly Wiggly is big... but it's not my favorite. Harris Teeters are awsome... they sell mostly organic fruits and vegetables, and everything is so clean there. I love it.

But to give PW some credit... they are my dad's biggest clients, So Piggly Wiggly has kept food on our table for many years now. LOL

You can say all that again! to you and Lizzy!

Thanks girly...'s to you! Hope you feel better soon!

 you nut... LOL

Wegmans is really high-end. And a HUGE selection... The have 1400 some cheeses, any kind of exotic produce, or international food you could ever ask for.

So besides the napping, how's Lizzy like Daycare? How many kids are there? Is it in a private home, or in a building?

It's a private day care... but it is in a building. You have to be recommended by someone else who's child goes there. Which keeps it small. Lizzy has 12 toddlers in her room. And the securtiy on the building is AWSOME. (which sadly was something I had to be concerned with) She's having a great time. They have designated play grounds behind each room for each age group. All of which is fenced off from the outside world with a 10 foot fence that has a lake around the outside. LOL So nobody's taken my kiddo. haha... It's really neat, the building itself is like a center within a center. When you first walk into the lobby you have to check in before you can even go back to the kids rooms... and from there you have to sign in with the receptionist for each age group. Then you go back into the kids room and that's where all the toys and educational things are. They're working with Lizzy on identifying the parts of her face right now. So today she came home and keeps pointing at her nose. LOL I think I chose well. I'm very pleased with the facility It always smells wonderful in there and everything is so clean, I feel like that'll cut back on the amount of sickness she'll have this fall and winter. I'm still nervous about the whole thing, but I love her teacher and the assistants are all really sweet. Anyway... lol i'm rambling... it's good. :)

Wow. Sounds like Fort Knox. Lizzy's not going anywhere in there! My mom's now a preschool teacher, so I'm fascinated by that kind of thing.

pooh! I missed a good discussion...

Well. Call me overprotective, but when I'm not around to watch out for her... you better be sure I'm going to make sure the people who do, do a good job. LOL This daycare has other mom's going through similar situations, so I feel good knowing I've provided them with all the documentation they would ever need to avoid a bad situation. :)
