Good morning everyone. I am leaving for work in about 3 minutes and will be back later. Today I am working at Pooh's Playground. Have a good day.
Hi Dot - just catching up on everything.
Sidenote: My 2 older brothers both went through basic training at Lackland too.
it rained last night, and it's still a bit cloudy, but it's supposed to go up into the 60's! I'll take it!Did they?
Small world, indeed!
So how are you today, Fishy?
Warm day here. Going up to the mid 70s!

Jerry was awful, and I think it's time that voters realized that. The rest of them were fantastic though. Sarah's interview was a little vague, and probably unneccesary. I'm sure she would have preferred to just leave quietly, but felt the need to keep the press happy.Me too!
What did you think of the show last night?
I thought everyone was great with the exception of Jerry who knows his number is probably up. He is a sport, though!

She seems so down-to-earth. No one should have to go through that in such a spotlight. I was really pretty disappointed that they did that - an obvious publicity stunt at her expense.Agreed on all of the above.
Poor Sarah! Imagine having to do that interview . . .

Dave has been hinting around for Shepard's Pie for a week or so now, so I cooked everything this morning and put it all together so I just have to bake it tonight. He'll be surprised!![]()
Not the way he likes it. I just brown ground beef with a little onion (and peppers when I have them), then layer it with mashed potatoes and corn, then I bake it. I used to make it a lot for him, but once he started doing the cooking, he never tried it.Oooh! I love Shepard's Pie!
I've never made it myself, though.
Is it complicated?

That's right - everthing is already cooked, so I bake it covered to heat it up, then uncoveed to brown the top layer of potatoes. It's pretty simple, as is most of my cooking! :lol:So basically you're just baking it to heat everything through.
And no crust.
Sounds simple enough. I know I'd love it but George isn't a fan.

I'm off to do Christmas shopping today, but I'm really dreading it. Everyone is so hard to buy for!
I try to be done by Halloween - I really can't stand the stores at Christmas!Good morning girls!
Christmas shopping already!I am definetly one of those people who is still out shopping in the days leading up to Christmas and wrapping presents right before I leave the house to go see my family.
