Funny story- since we are giving mom and dad a memory book for their anniversary, we are trying to get more background on their first yrs of knowing each other and dating. Just trying to get mom to sit down and finish one story was funny. She would tell like about 3 or 4 stories in one. I don't think we really got passed the first 5 yrs of them knowing each other. We did tease them about seeing other people before each other. They were teenage sweethearts.

Mom doesn't know we are getting this stuff for her. Then she wants me to put alot of her pictures on CD/DVDs. Just the pictures that are important to her. She had a million pictures :hammer: I don't know whick ones to get or what was/is inportant in hers and dads life together. I know some things but not all. :shrug:

It's a daunting job, but you'll enjoy doing it!

Mom is supposed to go though more pics. this week and get them to me next weekend. I hope with dates and names on them.:lookaroun I know it sounds like I am complaining but I am not really. I just want to do a good job on it. I really don't know how to get started on this project.:shrug: :lookaroun :lol:

I've found myself calling her over the last few years saying, "Ok, for all those times I got annoyed w/ you for doing this, I'm sorry and I understand".

We leave Wednesday afternoon! :sohappy: For some reason I decided to work a 1/2 day that day and I really don't know what I was thinking...I'm going to have such ants in my pants!

I did just find out that we're going to get to see one of my closest friends that night! He and I became friends when I was on CP 12 years ago...I lived w/ his parents 2 of the 3 summers I spent there and we've stayed best of friends since...have seen each other through SO much over the years. He & his wife moved from Orlando in April so we thought we'd missed them. BUT they're flying in for 1 night to get some stuff and are leaving the next morning to drive back up to Wisconsin...and their flight lands in Orlando 3 minutes before ours!

So we'll spend just a bit of time w/ them at the airport before we head to the resort. I'm just so glad that DBF will get to meet them and vice versa...he's been such a big part of my life.

However. Having said that... I had a great morning - I was on sundayschool duty and they were short in the nursery so I bumped over... and that was alot of fun. I spent the morning with 3 other girls and 9 babies just playing and remembering the days when my girly was that small.

All in all, except for my turkey bird's mood currently it was a great mother's day. :lol:

I'm sorry about Liz Jess. But I too had nursery duty today. It was me and one other girl, and we had 3 babies.
