Luke and his eyes?
I'm not even a mother yet, and I already find myself doing things that used to annoy me when my mom did them.God help us from turning into our mothers!
We won't. . .right? :lookaroun
I wish I could talk about it right now. Maybe one day I can. It is too personal right now. My sisters were somewhat great but they just didn't understand.
Funny story- since we are giving mom and dad a memory book for their anniversary, we are trying to get more background on their first yrs of knowing each other and dating. Just trying to get mom to sit down and finish one story was funny. She would tell like about 3 or 4 stories in one. I don't think we really got passed the first 5 yrs of them knowing each other. We did tease them about seeing other people before each other. They were teenage sweethearts.
God help us from turning into our mothers!

I'm sorry Susan. I hope talking to your sisters helped at least a little.
Sounds like Mom had fun sharing her stories.
You're so smart to ask for those stories while she can still share them with you!

Mom doesn't know we are getting this stuff for her. Then she wants me to put alot of her pictures on CD/DVDs. Just the pictures that are important to her. She had a million pictures :hammer: I don't know whick ones to get or what was/is inportant in hers and dads life together. I know some things but not all.
It actually helps me to understand her better.Scary isn't it?
I guess it can't be helped. . .
We pick up at least a little of our mothers' ways!
It's a daunting job, but you'll enjoy doing it!

When do you leave for WDW Steph?
Joanna -
Have a safe trip tomorrow!
I hope everything goes smoothly for you once you get there.
Don't forget to keep in touch!
We'll be waiting to hear from you. . .
:brick: I won't bore you with tales of how my rotten toddler chose today of all days to decide she no longer needed a nap. :dazzle: She's been a mess all evening. Crying at every little thing.
However. Having said that... I had a great morning - I was on sundayschool duty and they were short in the nursery so I bumped over... and that was alot of fun. I spent the morning with 3 other girls and 9 babies just playing and remembering the days when my girly was that small.
All in all, except for my turkey bird's mood currently it was a great mother's day.
