Are you an Eeyore fan?!
Oh yes! Got sooo excited when I saw him in the Christmas parade last November. Which makes our ressie at the Crystal Palace something I'm really looking forward to.

Did you find a ring when you went shopping for one a few weeks ago? What was it like?Yeah, at this point everything sets off the warning bells. And I'm not totally convinced it will happen there, either. EVERYBODY sort of expects it so he may not, in order for it to be a surprise. And when we went window shopping they said it would take at least a month which wouldn't have worked out. Honestly, whenever it happens is just fine w/ me. And I want him to do it in his own way.

Oh Dot..Im glad you are back..I missed you..Love you!
Awww, that's a great story Chris (good morning, btw). Yeah, I think it will be similar on this end...DBF is awful at keeping secrets and isn't very good at being "non-obvious". :lol:The day that we got engaged I was so sure that it was going to happen. There were all these little things happening that I was able to twist and turn into being related to a proposal, but then I stated to worry that I was just twisting things around and I wanted the ring so bad that I thought I was making it all up. I kept telling myself to not be upset if it didn't happen that day, but then it didand all of the things that I had noticed during the day were true!
I'm a huge Eeyore fan as well. Stuffed animals, t-shirts, framed cartoon cell... I can't wait to see him myself at the Crystal Palace! I'll tell him you say hi and can't wait to see him again!Oh yes! We ended up finding a few that we liked so that way it's his decision which one to ultimately get. But they were all round cut. A couple were solitaires and a couple were 3-stones (all round).Did you find a ring when you went shopping for one a few weeks ago? What was it like?
Yay for Eeyore! I'll tell him you say hi - oh wait! You can do that yourself in a few days! :sohappy:I'm a big Eyeore fan too - I have all kinds of Eyeore stuff. One time the pastor was going to do a children's story that involved a donkey, so of course he cma to me to borrow one of mine.

We got engaged at Christmas, and I was soooo sure it was going to happen. But after opening all my presents, there was still no ring, so I was really upset. Dave, being the joker that he is had hidden it in a really tacky little change purse thing, and didn't say a word when I opened it. It wasn't 'til much later that he told me he had forgotten to put a lucky penny inside, so he handed me a coin to put in it, so when I opened it up, there was the ring. I could have killed him for embarrassing me in front of his whole family!I know - I didn't want the ring, I wanted the question to be ASKED! Whenever it happens, it will be special and a memory you will always treasure.![]()
Rounds are super super sparkly! Woohoo!:sohappy:We ended up finding a few that we liked so that way it's his decision which one to ultimately get. But they were all round cut. A couple were solitaires and a couple were 3-stones (all round).

Love that story!
DH originally wanted to propose on Christmas - surprise me by flying up that day. But he is so bad at keeping secrets and waiting that he propsed the day after he got the ring from the jeweler! It was very nice though - very thought out and romantic. Now every November 19th (the day he propsed) he asks me to marry him again. *swoon*
Bye Betty!Got to go for a bit - talk to you all this afternoon!
