MJ's Love Bugs

Susan, moving here was the best thing we ever did. We sold our home of 27 years when the girls moved out and bought this condo in a beautiful development on the Delaware River. In the summer it is like living in a resort. We have so many great friends and we all have so many great times together. We are blessed, indeed!

Can't do that with 3 young girls. They need the yard.

Hello.

Feet hurt.

A LOT.

Some customers are soooooo rude.

The sign at the door should read, "No shirts, no shoes, no manners, no service."

Too bad we don't have a sign.

Or a door.

But I helped a very nice elderly lady find a pair of shoes.

That made me feel good.

Anywho....TTYL.

Hey Freddy. People are very rude. I always try to remember that the cashiers are there to help not hurt. Thanks for helping the elderly lady find some shoes.:sohappy:

Thanks for remembering that.
It gets frustrating when you're paid minimum wage to serve these rude creeps!

Things are bad enough when you're at the register, but working the floor is even worse.

Awww....thanks. She was the highlight of my day -- a real sweetie.

Wow, I just noticed that. :sohappy: It's really coming up quick- soon it will be time to shop for baby bun. One of my stops should be the Disney store. :D

Yay! :D

I know what you mean Freddy. Some of the people who come into the store I work in think, that because they buy a cup of coffee, they somehow earn the right to be rude and incredibly messy. I cannot believe the people who open a container of milk or creamer, pour it into their cup, then leave the open bottle just sitting there. The refrigerated box they took it out of is right there!!!!!!!! Put the top on and drop it back in!!!!!!!! :brick:

Not quite the same topic, but today when I saw POTC 3, this family comes in and sits down and they have a 3 year old child with them. These parents couldn't find a sitter? And they're 'shhh'ing this child when it fussed, because it was interrupting their good time. :brick: :brick: I so wanted to reach up and smack them upside the head. Thankfully, I think the kid fell asleep. Not a movie for the whole family.

I saw Jess' post on the topic of crying children at the movies. I think I told you all before that when we went to see the last Harry Potter movie, there was a couple with an infant who cried on and off through much of the film. Since we weren't seated near them, we tried to ignore it as much as possible. But apparently someone closer to them eventually lost patience and shortly before the movie's end a fight broke out. It distracted everyone's attention from the movie for a few minutes before they finally stopped the film and turned on the lights. Security came in and took those involved out. Then they restarted the movie, from the point at which they stopped it. . . about 1 minute before the end! Completely ruined the the movie for us. The end was all disjointed. We complained to the manager, who grudgingly gave us free tickets for another show.
What is wrong with people???? Get a sitter for a couple of hours!

Hello Jessie. I was trying to think of something for June MJ's Dad's Day or MJ's June Bugs but that was too close to Love bugs. I should just leave the naming to you guys.

How are you today, by the way?
