Finally uploaded my photos.

This is what i took my avatar from. I'm guessing this was taken in 1985. (I look about 4, don't you think?) It's in front of my parents house - the one they're selling in a few weeks. It'll be hard saying good-bye to the house. As i said before, I have so many memories with Trevor there...

Trev_Kiddo1_smallfile.jpg

This one was taken at my parent's 40 wedding anniversary. For the first and only time, me and my brothers planned something together - this family dinner. It's at our favorite restaurant in Chicago, where my family has been going for special occasions since before I was born. From left to right it's my dad, Trevor, my oldest brother Sean, my mom and me. It was taken in February of 2005 - three months before he died. I haven't seen my mom smile like that since.

Family_small_file.jpg

This was taken just a few weeks before he died. Trevor, his fiance and her two kids were going to SubWay for lunch. He called and asked me to go. I randomly had my camera and made his fiance take a picture of us. Trevor NEVER would pose for a picture - he hated it. So it's odd that he agreed to do this one - just a few weeks before he died.

He was the greatest person I've ever known.

Thanks again for letting me share.:o

Ok, guys, my "brief" summary is too long to PM, so here it is! I'll PM everybody the link to my album.

Wed. 16: Got to the airport & checked in very quickly. Adam found out he was able to sign up for Continental’s Presidents Club through work and, even though we weren’t flying w/ them, we could hang out in there before our flight. And enjoy free food/drinks/wireless internet! He was so funny about it, I really think he was AS excited about that as the trip itself! LOL
As it turned out, our flight was delayed almost 2 hours so we were able to spend plenty of time in there. Our late arrival meant we weren’t able to meet up w/ my friend, Bryan, but we were pretty exhausted anyway. We took the ME to Coronado, got checked in, had a quick dinner in the Pepper Market (barely made it before they closed), and called it a night.

Thurs. 17: Got a bit of a late start, as I woke up feeling pretty yucky. But I was brightened up a bit by the 1st meeting w/ My Boys before even going through the turnstiles. :sohappy: We made it our goal (and by "we", I mean "I") to get our pic w/ them at each park (got all but MGM). Headed straight to Everest which only had a 20 minute wait! Then to the safari which ended up being the longest wait we would have the entire trip (aside from the bus wait at the end of MK day), at 40 minutes. We made our way through the park over the course of the day and even got to bust out the Mickey NYC ponchos I’d bought…for about 15 minutes. We made it to everything except Lion King (just saw the Broadway version so it was ok) and Nemo. Went back to rest up w/ the hopes that I would feel better before dinner.
It did help a little, but I still didn’t have much of an appetite, which I was really bummed about. Ohana’s was still amazing. We had a perfect view of the Castle & Wishes (made me weepy:o ) and what I did eat was delicious. Oh, and Adam got to hear my uncanny impersonation of the Spanish Monorail Spiel for the 1st time. *says in deep voice* "por favor mantengase alejado de las puertas"

Friday 18: Epcot highlights: Loved Soarin, MS,& TT. Miss the HISTA True Colors pre-show; kept singing it in my head. Got a bit of my appetite back @ lunchtime, got cocky & lunched in Mexico. I'd never eaten there and it really was delicious. Such a romantical setting too. (I did end up regretting it later when I felt icky again) Got to visit “my stage” where I did my show in America. Got the perfect shot of Adam's reaction to Beverly. I'd had him convinced it was delicious. LOL! Took shelter in Living Seas during an afternoon rainshower (Adam said to leave the ponchos behind that morning since there was only a 30% chance of rain). Sky cleared for a great Illuminations show. And Adam now knows it's "Spaceship Earth" and not "the big golf ball"

Saturday 19th: MK wrap-up (always my fave): Kicked off the day w/ a great big hug from my guy(the furry, chipmunk one:) ). Got fought over by said guy and Goofy. Had my favorite french fries in the WORLD...before noon! :slurp: Tasted a Dole Whip! (A 1st for both of us!) It ended up being just what the Dr. ordered because after that I felt 100% better.:sohappy: Stayed dry on Splash. Hearing Adam scream on Space Mountain was hilarious. Hearing him giggle (a very manly giggle, of course) during PhilharMagic was also a highlight. Got to show him where I worked during CP and share tons of stories. Wasn't too keen on the Stitch version on Alien. Spectro gave me goosebumps, as usual. Wishes made me cry (again:o ). It actually got really chilly this night. So much so that I, wearing a tank top, had to use the little, pink Princess T's I bought for the twins as "sleeves" to stay warm.

Sunday 20th: Studios recap: I was so excited to wake up feeling completely well, that I had my leftover MK cotton candy for breakfast! :slurp: What a great start! This was a good day. I don't even remember the last trip that I did all of the MGM attractions, so it was fun to revisit them. RNR & TOT were a blast, of course. Love the new drop sequence on TOT. Absolutely loved One Man's Dream. What a wonderful tribute to Walt. Was able to make a last-minute ADR for lunch at Sci-Fi Dine In which was so much fun. The new stunt show rocks! We had alot of fun on New York Street. I believe the hotel they have depicted there w/ the red carpet is actually 3 blocks from my office. Fantasmic was great, but the Princess boats didn't go out during their song. They just did colored fountains, it was odd. Other than that it was wonderful as usual. I love that show.

Monday 21st: Started the day at the Supercalifragilistic Breakfast at 1900 Park & got to meet the uber nanny herself. Decided to make a quick stop at MK for 1 more ride (Space Mountain, Adam's fave) and to say goodbye to the Castle. As we got off Space Mountain, our last ride of the trip, we were pulled aside and given a "Year of a Million Dreams" prize! A VIP FastPass for the entire day! LOL! We were cracking up at the irony. We snapped a quick pic and then gave it to a couple of kids waiting in line. We said goodbye to MK :( and then headed to DTD for some last minute shopping. We'd finished our shopping and were about to explore PI and West End, when Adam decided he wanted to see what DVC was all about. !!!! I decided to let him go w/ it since this was the final sign that I needed to know that he was hooked. They took us to the Info Center @ Saratoga Springs (we were joking that it was like being let into the "compound" and the tea we were drinking was "special tea" LOL!). We were thinking it might be a good investment for us and our eventual family. I don't think we're in a position to do it now, but it was fun to dream about it for a bit. And they gave us a ride back to Coronado. We then took the ME back to the airport. On the way we were condensing all of our purchases and Adam stuck the Princess Minnie's I'd gotten for the girls in his backpack so they were peeking out. It was so funny, I snapped a couple cute pics of him walking through the airport with them on his back...they'll get a kick out of seeing that. We had a celebrity encounter going through security and saw William Shatner. He bugs me, but Adam was pretty excited.

All in all it was a wonderful trip. Aside from the sickies (forgot to mention that Adam woke up w/ a bonus souvenir of pink eye the last morning) the only negatives were long lines for the buses (we're used to that here, though), the hot tub @ our resort being closed, and having to come home. Oh, and I was a little disturbed by all of the places you can now buy liquor in all the parks. When did this happen? The beer line @ Fantasmic was the longest line in the place. Oh well. Anyway, Adam officially caught the bug. He was so funny trying to be macho about it for the 1st day or 2, but he's very obvious and eventually he broke. His favorite things were Space Mountain, Soarin, Wishes, the monkeys at AK, and my Spanish monorail spiel *in deep voice* "por favor mantengase alejado de las puertas"

Well, I am off. I have my training assessment, then I am working...by myself! I am so afraid I am going to fail. Well, either way I will not be back on today, so have a good day everyone.
